This luggage rack looks great, and I'm impressed by its apparent sturdiness out of the box. Assembly is simple (it took longer to remove the protective bubble wrap and tape than to put it together). When assembling, I had some trouble with the rack. Some of the smaller parts ("plum nuts") would not thread onto the U Bolt. The company was prompt and courteous in responses, and they made everything right. I cannot say enough about their support as well as their pursuit of a solution. I cannot wait to see how this rack performs over time. I think it will be a useful tool for adding cargo space to my vehicle. (Note: I initially posted a review that was critical because of the parts issue, but after the company's responsiveness, I felt compelled to adjust my review accordingly.) ... show more

I’m very happy with this car roof basket and bag combination. The material is very nice and feels very sturdy, giving me confidence for long trips. It was easy to assemble and attach to my 2024 Grand Highlander, which was a big plus. The capacity is excellent. We were able to fit two large duffel bags, two small duffel bags, and even a queen-size inflatable mattress with room to spare. During our trip, we drove through some rain, and I was impressed that everything inside the bags stayed completely dry. Pros: • Sturdy, high-quality material • Easy installation on a 2024 Grand Highlander • Excellent storage capacity • Waterproof performance held up well in rain Cons: • The basket can be a bit noisy when empty due to air friction • The plastic attachments used to secure the bag to the basket didn’t feel as sturdy as expected, so I added extra straps for peace of mind Overall, this is a very practical and reliable setup for extra cargo space. With a little extra strapping and awareness of wind noise when the basket is empty, it performs exactly as needed and is a great addition for road trips and family travel. ... show more

Just found out the hard way mid cross country trip that the bag is not waterproof… big pool of water in our bag. Our electronics are dead. This was the worst case scenario past things falling off.
