I got this scooter for my mom who is unable to walk steadily or for long distance even with a walker, thus the scooter. Have some other person to help you lift the scooter when getting ready to unbox unless you have it delivered where you can unbox it by taking off the box rather than the scooter out of the box. That being said, it performs well for my purposes not sure how it will handle on uneven terrain or whee you have hills and such. Our area is flat land and this performs well to take my mom to the nearby park when the weather is decent. It is not very fast which could be a blessing for some and a frustration for others. If you want easy operation you better have enough space to store it and keep it, such as a garage, as while it would fold somewhat, it would still be a bit bulky unless you take some parts apart.

What I ordered and supposedly received is no longer the scooter offered in the listing. They either discontinued this one or combined it with other listings. Unfortunately for the buyer, the reviews on the original listing are gone now but they were generally good. This is, in my opinion, a good scooter. It assembles easily although you have to do quite of bit of interpretation of the translated instructions. It's heavy, so unboxing it and may even assembly is a two-person job. Depending on what description you read, it's speed is listed as either 4 or 5 mph. Just to be sure: it's 4 mph. It does fold a little. But the seat has to be removed to make it significantly smaller to get in a tight storage space. It's really quite good on flat, paved terrain. It struggles a little with even minor hills and cannot negotiate a hill and gravel at the same time. 12 mile range is ambitious unless on flat terrain the whole time. The back up alarm is really loud. I think with a little judicious use of wire cutters it could be silenced. Did I mention it's heavy: 100 lbs. The seat is comfy but I'd hate to be in it for 12 miles at 4 mph. Would I get it again? Maybe, especially now that its price is more in line with other scooters in its class. At the time of ordering it was $200 more than it can be purchased for now. For its quality, it's still at a high price point but not outrageously so.

I was hesitant in purchasing such a big money item at first but noticed that Amazon fulfilled the orders changed the game in that issue. I am really glad I did go ahead and purchase the Lodstun electric wheelchair. It is the best wheelchair I have had in a long time. I have a custom made wheelchair but it was expensive to get serviced and it was the most uncomfortable seat so that was my initial reason in looking to purchase a new one. The next issue was the foldability that my old chair doesn't do ..... It really changed the ability to get out more and I am thankful for that. No more ramps, trying to find lifts for my car... Instead my husband just folds, lifts, and we are off... The things I did learn are: - If wheelchair beeps after unboxing and will not move then charge the battery for 8 hours. (It is a great little battery) - If you have the wheels unlocked for manual push the wheelchair will beep at you like the dead battery beep so make sure they are locked for electric option. - The back wheels may need to be pumped up after initial unboxing but keeps air well. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase of the Lodstun electric wheelchair and wish I could post a video of it in action but no camera man available. Do yourself a favor and get this amazing little chair.
