This is AMAZING! The quality is outstanding. It mulches up wood so fast and efficient. I was informed that the noise level was really bad, however, I didn't feel that it was too loud at all. As for the working of the machine and ease of use, all thumbs up for me. My only complaint is that putting it together was quite a challenge. It weighs 597-pounds, and it arrives in a wooden crate on a pallet and the axle, wheels, and tow tongue are not attached. We have a tractor that helped us lift it up to place on the axle and wheels. An engine lift would also work but if you don't have those then I really don't know how you would lift up a 597-pound engine that is sitting flat on a pallet. ... show more

    • Works good for 4”-5”!

This machine chews up the tree tops easily & makes a fine mulch! It doesn’t seem to like the smaller stuff but the larger branches up to 5” are easily ground up & spit out. I will say the lights on the light bar did vibrate off and they should have had screws holding them on (they do now).

It maneuvers relatively easily. Performed adequately on relatively straight pieces of wood. You have to cut the branches off first to get it to fit through the lower opening. Instructions said not to put in pine needles as they could get caught in the grinder and cause problems. Very solid, sturdy and heavy. You will probably need help assembling.
