Description

Easy to use: 1.Battery Installation. Put the (-) terminals in first, then press the (+) terminals in 2.Turn the knob to adjust the time and the alarm clock, very easy to use. 3.If you don't need the alarm right now, simply slide the black switch to the Off position. The clock will keep accurate time and won't disturb you. Alarm Setting: 1. Please Turn the black switch to "ON" position to activate the alarm function. 2. Rotate the alarm knob as per the arrow direction to your needed(for example, if you need an alarm clock at 8:30, then set the alarm clock's pointer between the number 8 and the number 9. 3.Snooze Function: When the alarm sounds, press the top button once to activate the 5-minute snooze. You can repeat this as many times as needed within a 45-minute window. 4.Turning Off the Alarm: Please note that pressing the top button will not permanently turn off the alarm. To silence it completely, simply slide the black switch to the "OFF" position.

I purchased this clock for a relative who is a senior. She has very poor vision and could not see a wall clock across her room. It is very easy to read with large numbers and clear black & white definition of numbers and minute/hour hands. It is much easier to read than a digital clock since even if a person can't see the numbers, she/he will be able to see the hands and know approximately what time it is. Digital numbers can look alike with blurred vision so this is a great alternative. It is basic with set time, set alarm, turn alarm on/off controls on the back. It is silent which is important for anyone who is bothered by a ticking clock. The biggest negative for me is that the labels on the controls are very hard to read and are small. This probably is not a big issue for 95% of users but for someone with poor vision it requires a magnifying glass or for someone else to do it for them. That's why I gave "easy to use" 4 stars instead of 5. It is large so I wouldn't consider this a travel clock. It's lightweight though so I gave it 3 stars for that category. Clock arrived on time and in good packaging too. FYI it needs a AA battery which is not included. ... show more

This clock has everything going for it. Easy to read at night even without my glasses. Easy to set. Silent -- no ticking. Only one AA cell. The plastic molding on the case seems to be of much better quality than I normally see in Chinese products. It has a gradual-rise alarm that resets to snooze easily. When it is full-on, it's very loud. The OFF/ON switch in the back can easily be set by feel only. It's attractive enough that it would make a good desk clock as well. And the price is very reasonable. The only caveat would be durability. Most of my Chinese bedside clocks fail after only two or three years by becoming only interminttently reliable. The snooze usually goes first, so it might be the switches. But mine is new, so a few years will have to go by to find that out. ... show more

I got this clock for my husband who has trouble seeing our other clock at night. This clock has nice big numbers and is very readable during the day. It comes with a small light that you press a button to come on. Maybe since it is on a battery, it doesn’t stay on or light up very well. My husband uses a flash light to see it at night. He likes that, although I prefer to have a backlight or digital. The weight is ok, but a little heavier would keep it in place better. It does work fine and is silent which is great. It uses one AA battery. Only used for a few weeks. So far, so good. I would buy again for its simplicity and price. ... show more

This is bigger than I expected, but that's OK, especially as one selling point is its ease of seeing the display. It is analog (clock face with hands), not digital. Positives: It is silent, as advertised - and for the first few weeks, at least, super-accurate. Easy to see. The top button is easy to hit, either to put a ringing alarm to "sleep" or light the dial (adequate, not super-bright, fine for night-time time check). Negative/not ideal: To completely turn off the alarm (or on) you need to find a small switch on the back and toggle it. Not awful, but not ideal. (My last alarm had an easily-findable on/off switch on the side.) Overall, works well, is well-described, a bit bigger than the old timex alarm clocks, but battery operated and easy to set up and use, as well as being value-priced. ... show more

It's OK. Large easy to read. But today- I throw it out. It stopped working. 5 years. I guess I'm old fashioned. I still have a similar Timex clock going strong at 35+ years. so if you need a cheap clock, and you don't mind adding to the landfill, then this might be your clock. btw-- boo hoo hoo that companies like original timex- are but a memory...AND -oh yea, I'd bought a second one of these for my nearly blind Mom.
