Love this media player. You can connect a micro SD card, usb sticks, external drives, etc. It will play all of you music, videos, and photos in 4k. It's easy to use and comes with a remote and all cables and connectors needed. It is very compact and easy to use and can be easily put behind the TV out of sight. Very helpful in cleaning the clutter of all connected devices out of sight.

Maybe I got a bad one, but this thing is trash. It boots up and seems to mount USB drives and microSD cards ok, but if you select the drive or card you get a "4K Player stopped working" error. It's running some version of Android - I might of kept it if there was an obvious way to update it or reflash the OS, but no dice. Nothing in the manual and I don't have the will to research it any further.

The device did play all sorts of different video types. Note that it only has a micro SD slot, not a standard SD slot. I just tried playing videos from my Sony video camera. This device had problems while playing the video back to my TV. Every second or so, there is a visible hesitation in video play back that is very distracting. It did not recognize my 128 Gb USB drive.

I like how small the device is. Great for camping when there is no internet service. Just download video file or pictures into usb or micro and card, and it plays. Make sure the screen or project has sound output.
