Fantastic little device. It took a while to finally track this down and I tried several other units and had issues but this seems to work absolutely wonderfully. Powered up immediately plugged in my USB pulled up my TV show and I was off to the races. Exceptional product easy to use very easy to navigate through the menus. Only draw back and it would be a minor when is it says that it has an internal hard drive but it recommends you don't use it because it's relatively small about 4 gigs. But due to the speed and the ram it runs fine off of my 3.2 USB flash drive. Super pleased with this device. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Really good Product. My TV’s USB port stopped working and I got this one to be able to play my flash drive movies!!! It works amazingly

    • It is ok(ish)... a bit clunky media player, but it does work...
Updated 20th Apr 2026: OK.... so that I am clear.... the unit works fine and does offer basic functionality (as advertised). With that said, for those of you who might not be on a budget constraint (like myself), there are real good alternatives.... like Nvidia Shield (the gold standard) .. I have already purchased 2 and plan for more.... It really boils down to "you get what you pay for".... :c) updated (19th Apr-2026). I am changing my rating to 4 star to reflect the seller's proactiveness. Again, the device DOES work, but to get something more fancy, you would need to increase your spending budget... :c))) Original it works ok.... Price is reasonable too.... so if you are looking for a basic functionality, this is for you. Having used NVIDIA Shield, however, I would have to say, there is no comparison with fnetic media player. Also, the media player for fnetic is a bit clunky... The difference these two products is like choosing Florida over Hawaii!! I was very impressed with NVIDIA Shield, so I went ahead and purchased a 2nd one for our guest room.... :c)) ... show more

I wanted to burn my DVD collection and play it on the tv, especially when I have no internet connection for streaming. My TV only supports FAT32 so I needed something that could play exFAT or NTFS and this looked like it should do it. It's really easy to use, the menu is simple with no combability issues on any devices I tried. MY Hard Drive with the 4k videos worked seamlessly with the decoder between the drive and TV. I needed a simple media player that I could run with a projector on a loop for halloween and I didn't have much time to tinker. Luckily this player was perfect for the job and easy to use. The menu system is surprisingly good-- it's all on one page-- and it played and looped my 30min video with sound, just as expected.
