Awesome media device for my projector
Review Image by Johnny T.
This media player is compact, very easy to carry around compare to a laptop. I specifically bought this to play movies and picture slideshow on my projector. I normally have to carry my laptop to play media with my projector so this is a game changer for me. Picture quality is great and with a usb or sd card plug in, u can easily play your favorite movie or viewing picture slideshow on big screen. ... show more

It is ok(ish)... a bit clunky media player, but it does work...
Updated 20th Apr 2026: OK.... so that I am clear.... the unit works fine and does offer basic functionality (as advertised). With that said, for those of you who might not be on a budget constraint (like myself), there are real good alternatives.... like Nvidia Shield (the gold standard) .. I have already purchased 2 and plan for more.... It really boils down to "you get what you pay for".... :c) updated (19th Apr-2026). I am changing my rating to 4 star to reflect the seller's proactiveness. Again, the device DOES work, but to get something more fancy, you would need to increase your spending budget... :c))) Original it works ok.... Price is reasonable too.... so if you are looking for a basic functionality, this is for you. Having used NVIDIA Shield, however, I would have to say, there is no comparison with fnetic media player. Also, the media player for fnetic is a bit clunky... The difference these two products is like choosing Florida over Hawaii!! I was very impressed with NVIDIA Shield, so I went ahead and purchased a 2nd one for our guest room.... :c)) ... show more

Junk. Pay the extra for the little m brand.
Bought an Amazon returned one. Big ole blue light blasting at your face. Locked up. Flimsy remote doesn't do anything. I knew I should have paid the $55 for a tried and true micca brand. Never again on these players but micca brand.

Nice Media Player
This media player works very well. It powered up quickly and is easy to use the menus. The picture quality is great. This is also great for downloading movies. It is a great value for the money.

Fnetic’s customer service Is excellent
“Initially I had problems with two units, but Fnetic’s customer service contacted me, responded professionally, offered a full refund, and stood behind their products. The new units work well, and I truly appreciate their support.

Very good indeed
Instructions not particularly coherent but this does work very well. I used it for a few-image slideshow on a 24" monitor turned 90 degrees. The device allows this in its menu settings. The images are on a USB thumb drive, which I left plugged-in. Spend some time playing with it to get familiar. It's got several options. As noted, worked well for me. Powering it down and back up, it resumed operation exactly where I had left it. ... show more
