The setup was straightforward, and I like that it comes with a 128GB memory card included, so I did not have to buy one separately just to get started. This dash cam set by TERUNSOUL is fantastic and worth every penny! First off, it’s packaged really well. Almost like something you’d get from the Apple Store. It comes with clear and easy to understand instruction booklets as well as a QR code to access more info online. Using the clear instructions, set up was as simple as downloading the app, sticking the can to my front windshield (comes with glass wipes) and plugging it in. Bam. That’s about it. It comes with a sd card for storage. The best part of this thing is the amazing video quality. It doesn’t get much clearer than the 4k video this provides. Very nice and well made dash cam. The price was very nice considering how well it videos and it does have a clear picture. It was very easy to install, had it installed in about a half hour (did it myself). I messed up and hit the button to soon for English and ended up in Russian lol but google helped me get back to English (thank goodness for google) but other than that little whoopsie it was super easy to install and easy to connect!! Great little unit just plugged it in and attached it to the windshield. Given all the craziness on the roads today I feel comfortable having a little bit of extra protection. Unit is very small and does not obstruct my view have it mounted next to the rear-view mirror. I wish the car manufactures would install a power source by the rear view which would eliminate running the power cable. Suspect in the future dash cams with be a standard feature. I didn’t buy this dash cam for the "cinematic 4K resolution" or the "loop recording functionality." I bought it because I am currently living in a real-life, low-budget remake of Mad Max: Fury Road, and I needed a reliable witness for my eventual insurance claim—or my sanity hearing. The Footage Since installing this little guy, my memory card has become a curated museum of human incompetence. Highlights include: The "Blinker-Averse" SUV: A driver who clearly believes that signaling their intent is a violation of their constitutional right to privacy. The Roundabout Renegade: A person who approached a yield sign like it was a personal challenge from a medieval knight. The Left-Lane Loomer: Someone doing 40 mph in the passing lane while enjoying what appeared to be a three-course meal and a Zoom call. Features I Love The G-Sensor: This thing is so sensitive that every time I let out a heavy, soul-shattering sigh at a green light because the person in front of me is checking their TikTok, the camera "locks" the footage. It knows. It feels my pain. Night Vision: Perfect for capturing the exact moment a sedan decides that headlights are "optional" at 11:00 PM on a rainy Tuesday. Compact Design: It hides perfectly behind my rearview mirror, which is great because I don’t want the person cutting me off to know I’m documenting their descent into madness. The Verdict If you enjoy screaming, "WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR LICENSE, A CEREAL BOX?!" into the void of your own cabin, this is the tech for you. It turns every commute from a "stressful ordeal" into a "content creation opportunity." Pros: High-definition proof that it wasn't your fault. This is a very clear picture front and rear camera, I only gave it 4 stars because the mounting bracket will not adjust for the curvature of the windshield. I have had my battery drain totally over a two day no drive period, so if you don't drive every day you WILL have to jump your battery or start your vehicle every day. ... show more
