I’m extremely impressed with this dash cam. The video quality is crystal clear, both during the day and at night. The front and rear cameras capture a wide view of the road, and the details (like license plates) are much easier to read than I expected for this price range. Installation was straightforward and didn’t take long. The app connection was simple, and I like being able to review footage directly from my phone. The GPS feature is also a nice bonus because it records speed and location data. The build quality feels solid, and the unit looks clean and discreet on the windshield. I purchased this dash cam for my new 2026 Acura RDX. The item arrived safely packaged in a sleek, well-designed box. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. This was my first time purchasing and installing a dash cam, so I watched several YouTube videos beforehand, which I highly recommend for first-time users. I took some time to find the best location for the front camera and ultimately mounted it behind the rearview mirror, mostly out of sight. I also purchased the 24/7 parking kit. Connecting the three wires took some trial and error, but I was eventually able to get everything working properly. Installation: I attempted to hide the rear camera wiring, but the tailgate window panel on my RDX does not provide enough space and is not easily detachable. For the front camera, the black housing next to the rearview mirror sits extremely close to the windshield, leaving very limited space to conceal the wires. Functionality: The camera can be tilted up and down, but it does not swivel left or right. I’m not sure if many dash cams at this price point offer that feature anyway. The dash cam records both audio and video. The 4K resolution delivers very clear and sharp footage, and the audio recording makes the videos easier to understand. Audio recording can be toggled on or off by pressing and holding the down button for two seconds. The built-in speaker provides voice prompts when pressing the corresponding buttons, which is very convenient. You can easily switch between camera views—front only, rear only, or both front and rear on the same screen—by pressing the up or down arrow buttons. There are many additional features explained on a small rigid instruction sheet, which I keep in my vehicle’s glove compartment for reference. This was easy to install (minus a little difficulty getting the cable behind trim, which was my vehicle, not the cable’s fault). Clear images during the day and night.
