The screen an interface is nice. Installation requires a little bit of time to do if you haven't done it before as you don't just remove panels, but also have to take apart your old control unit and migrate it to the new unit. While the screen quality seems nice and clear, I found the wiring and plastic quality to barely be strong/nice enough. It does provide you with all the parts, but it feels like they went as cheap as possible to deliver a passable part when it comes to wiring sheath quality and also the plastic for the bezel. Careful when you are putting it together as you can break the parts, and some of the stuff you can break isn't easily replaceable. Functions great as a radio and powers the stock speakers without issues.

DSP support is a nice bonus, giving better control over audio tuning when paired with quality speakers. Bluetooth 5.0 handles calls and music reliably, and the included backup camera and steering wheel control support round out a generous feature set. There are a few minor drawbacks. Installation can vary depending on trim level, and some users may need additional wiring harnesses or a dash kit for a flush fit. The included backup camera gets the job done but isn’t high-res, and GPS navigation requires setup or a hotspot connection for live traffic updates. While the system is snappy for most tasks, heavier apps can still lag slightly under load. Despite those small limitations, this unit delivers great value for Fusion and Mondeo owners looking to bring modern features into an older cabin without spending a fortune.

don't buy. You'll have more luck using a tin can as an amplifier for your phone speaker than you will with any level of quality from this product. Wireless anything is borderline non-functional, and everything is slow. Not to mention there is zero option to remove the "AI assistant" (that doesn't work) from the home screen. The audio quality, with literally every option in the book is worth less than a dime store set of tweeters wired backwards and installed in a ford pinto under water. Garbage. Just absolute, utter, garbage.

Installed this in my mother's 2016 Ford Fusion and it’s a night-and-day difference. The screen is sharp, CarPlay works smoothly, and the backup camera is clear, feels like a modern car now.

I was impressed by how straightforward the installation process was for this stereo. The instructions were clear, and everything clicked into place without issues. Once installed, the unit fit flush with the dash and looked like it belonged there all along. CarPlay launches instantly and has never dropped a connection, even on long trips. Android Auto also runs without hiccups, and switching between the two platforms is seamless. The sound quality is exceptional, making my factory speakers sound brand new. The touchscreen is highly responsive and reacts instantly to input. Overall, the product feels sturdy, well-built, and well worth the money.
