The media could not be loaded. I bought this knowing that I would have to mess with it a little bit based on other reviews. I was correct, it needed a little work but it's not terrible. If you replace the spindle with the one that you currently have or order this one ASIN B0BJ6XCSFN it works just fine. I don't know why they put in the wrong spindle, maybe it's for a different Vitamix model? Watch the video and you'll see it's pretty easy to make it work correctly. The thing is made super solid and will probably outlast the base unit. It would get 5 stars if it work correctly straight out of the box. I really like this product.

This container barely fits my Vitamix base but it works for what I need. I just wanted to chop up some whole Cinnamon sticks. It did it well althoughI had to hold the container down firmly to keep it steady.

Good stainless steel Vitamix attachment. It’s sturdy and durable, so far it’s holding up and I’m not having any issues. The price is a little high but overall it’s a good product.

The media could not be loaded. When I saw this I thought that it was a pretty good deal. I had wanted to buy the stainless steel one that Vitamix makes but at $200 plus I thought again. The construction of this is good. I do not have the original to compare it to, but the hydro casting looks good. The nicely made handle is spot welded in several places to the body. Some of the sharp edges could have been rounded over a bit though. The lid is a diferent story. The lid is not easy to attach and remove, as a matter of fact it's bad. I had a lot of trouble taking it off and putting it on. Here come the really bad part. Just like most other reviewers have said, this rocks on the base because the cog that connects it to the motor base protrudes too far out. Check out the movie, it rocks a lot. Is it a total loss? No, you could replace the bearing and blade with a shorter one as one reviewer did. Is it worth the trouble, that's up to you. Holding it while it's running is not something I recommend, especially if it's filled with hot liquid. I don't understand how this got past the people who made it. I gave it 2 stars because if you put in the effort you could get it to work. Close but no cigar.
