This should be the only carafe that comes with the Vitamix products. No more plastic. It is great and keeps smoothies nice and cold. Easy to clean and worth it if you are trying to have healthier products (less plastic) in your home.

The media could not be loaded. This replacement container for Vitamix isn't a proper fit. I have a Vitamix 6300 Professional Grade Blender VM0102B. I got this as a replacement for the otiginal blender container which the listing says this replacement container fits.... however it doesn't fit. The mechanism that turns the blade fits but the base moves around. This is not a good replacement for the Vitamix 6300 VM0102B. And there's a hole at the base which is pretty sharp & I'm afraid whomever cleans this will cut their finger. ... show more

This is not a self detect container ! The V1200 Vitamix would not run because the container would not register. Could not get container top cover to clamp on, but a Vitamix 48 oz. cover worked. I am returning it because it doesn't work on my Vitamix. Will buy a genuine Vitamix SS container when they have a sale again. ... show more
