this pitcher replacement is EXCELLENT!! the Vitamix blenders are no joke, love them! it's durable, functions perfectly, the plastic is still transparent but it's like a grey/black that's transparent, which is even better to me. the heat level? i didn't know u could use hot products in it & i don't (as of yet, but if u can then i will at some point). it cleans easily & well. it's kinda pricey for a plastic blender pitcher replacement (which is the gist of what it is) BUT as i said before, these Vitamix blenders are great & a cut above everything else, so the price is as it should be, i would think. all happy here, w/this anyway. :) *Durability; i can't speak to, as i haven't had it very long. if we are reviewing re durability then the reviews would be a LOOONG time in coming & i'm sure that is not pleasing to anyone. :) ... show more

This is the best blender pitfher I've ever felt in my hand. The no leak handle or top is extremely good at keeping the fluids in I've actually filled it with tools and put a rust removing solution inside it and even when it fell off the table and hit the ground if they kind of kick with my foot so I didn't hit the hard floor not only didn't break but the top did not come off and there's like 10 lb of tools in there so chances are your smoothie is not going to pop out either ... show more

Used on my Vitamix 7500. This worked great, much better form factor than normal for pouring. The blade worked really well for my case, and on lower speeds will actually maintain tiny chunks of blended material.
