I've tried three of the blades so far, and each has had at least one dull spot. Also, the blade doesn't rotate properly on the bearing no matter how you adjust it - either it wobbles, or it's so tight it won't spin freely. IF you can get it going just right and IF you are very, very deliberate in how you press on it, you can cut through two pieces of cotton with only a few strands missed. However, since I bought it to cut out a ton of quilting squares as quickly as possible, it's actually faster to just use my scissors, which means this pretty much useless. Also, the little cutting board is too small to be useful. I knew that going in but I was still surprised at just how useless. I'd say skip on this unless you really can't afford something else.

I've completed a 6'x5', 30 complex squares custom image center piece for a quilt with this cutter. 1 blade replacement thus far. The little mat isn't enough for a project. The pins are dull/garbage. But the cutter is good. Considering even the cheapest/sale at Joann's costs more for just the cutter with no extra blades or bits it's a good deal for just the cutter and spare blades. The bag works to contain bits for the section you're currently working on. And the little mat is very thick/quality, and fits right in front of the sewing machine for cutting bits as you're sewing. The little mat is useful.

I like that this came with several blades. The cutter works well enough for what I need it for. My complaint is the size of the mat. It's tiny and almost impossible to use to cut fabric on and the measurements on the mat don't make any sense. I should have read the description in the size of the mat, but I just went based off the photos and assumed it was a standard-sized mat. I included scissors for size reference. If you just need a simple cutter/blades this is for you. Don't buy if you need a big mat for cutting.

Mat was smaller than expected but for 12 dollars I think this was a great find and it came with it's own little carrying case to keep everything in! That might have been in the listing, but I dont remember seeing it. I used it in the first five minutes after it was delivered. It came with a blade in it so I didnt have to put one in. It cut amazing and didnt exactly what I needed it for. Five stars.

I purchased this to cut up t-shirts for a project. It's essentially a round utility knife. It cuts kind of like a pizza cutter, and it goes through the fabric really easily. It also comes with a cutting mat so I don't need to tear up my desk. I'm very pleased with the cutting capabilities of this product, and I'd recommend it to any crafting friends.

All I really wanted was the cutter, so the rest was a bonus...sort of. The mat is too small for anything and the pins are fat as nails. LOL Again all I really wanted was the cutter and it just fine.
