Bad news: Assembly instructions are perhaps the worst I have ever seen. For anything, ever. Good news: It is very easy and intuitive to assemble, and KATOOL has an OK video to help if you get stuck. As soon as you get started, things just sort of fall into place. Much easier than, say, a gas grill circa 1980, back when the stores charged a $50+ assembly fee and friends couldn't believe you did yours on your own. Even better news: It works very well and cost less than used machines in my area having fewer features (assist arms, bead blaster).

My son and I recently started drifing going through alot of tires that we order on line and mount at a local shop. My mounting bill was $250 for a weekend and I figured we should do something different. We are using low profile tires and the changer worked like a top. It took an evening to assemble the machine and and we dismounted and mounted 20 tires in about 4 hours and 6 beers. It functioned as i would expect even if i paid much more. I never used a machine like this before but watched people at the track so I am sure we will get faster the more we use it. I was looking on facebook and could not touch a used machine for less than $2,500 and they all looked beat to heck. I would have to say my hats off to Rainier Engineering who worked with me on the delivery. The machine Functions very well especially for the cost.

Assembly was tricky with since they don't send directions only a picture but works good once put together, bout 50 tires in and no issues yet

The bead breaker arm folded up after 10ish tires. This should all be flat/straight. Seller will not respond. Save your money

UPDATE APRIL 2026... I sold the machine for what I had in it after finding out it will not dismount stiff sidewall tires and does not accept rim size seller claims without having to reconfigure the clamps. Large mud tires and and performance tires are a no-go so this thing was part useless to me. However, it works on standard plane jane tires and trailer tires. The rim clamps seem to also be iffy. I had several wheels turn in the clamps when dismounting which is also a no go. Lesson learned.... go with a name brand. I bought this machine for my home shop to change tires on all my vehicles since one visit to a tire dealer cost $100 or more for mounting and balancing 4 tires. The idea is that the machine pays for itself. All has been fine until today. I went to change my brothers tire on a 22 inch rim only to find the machine will not outside clamp a 22 inch rim. Not even close. As advertised, the machine is suppose to accept up to a 22 inch rim using outside clamping and up to 24 inches inside. Outside clamping is for alloy rims and inside clamping is for steel rims. Anyway, I had to clamp inside of the rim causing some damage to the wheel from the cleats. Then getting the tire off was a whole other ordeal. The spoon bar that came with the machine is completely useless. I had to use 2 longer HF bars and even then bent the bar trying to get the bead over the duckbill. This machine struggled to get the bead over the rim and to rotate the assembly to remove the tire. If I had known this from day one I would not have made this purchase. Otherwise, I have been happy with the machine.

Assembly can be a little tricky but taking your time it can be done in 2-3 hours. Worked great on an older tire and wheel. Not sure how the other reviewer bent the tire spoon but mine has been fine. Make sure your compressed air is dry with some kind of separator and keep the oiler fill and shouldn’t have issues.
