  • Great on all kinds of fabric
These work so well! I use them often and they will last me a lifetime. So easy to use and erases easily with heat.

  • They work great on darker fabric
I bought these because I was hand quilting on darker fabric. They worked great. I really needed the white ink the most. There were only 5 white refills. When I ironed the quilt the ink came off completely. BUT the amount of ink in the refills is minimal. I didn't even get 1/4 of the quilt marked with the 5 refills. Each section used up one refill. I found a Fons & Porter mechanical fabric pencil with 10 refills that worked beautifully. I will probably use the Fons & Porter pencil in the future. ... show more

  • Great pens
These worked great for tracing a pattern on top of my quilt. I don’t have a large quilting table so I’m having a hard time using a template, and I thought these would make it easier if I just trace the template pattern right where I want it on the quilt then all I will have to worry about is moving the quilt instead of trying to move the quilt following the template, and trying to keep the template still with enough pressure to move it all. If you quilt you know this is a challenge if you don’t have a long arm or a desk where you can drop your machine in. If this is a goal for you too, these pens are great. So far I’ve only used the red, but it shows up just enough and goes away when heated. I love that they’re refillable and come with many refills as well. They’re much better than those disappearing fabric pens. I think those ones disappear over time rather than with heat, but I’m not sure, I’ve only used them once a long time ago, but I do know that they dry out fast, don’t show well on darker colors, and they’re expensive for just one pen. These are a much better deal! ... show more

  • Some colors don’t erase as easily
Blue, white and red work great but black takes much higher heat and still leaves residual color

  • They leak
They work, except when they don’t. They leak. The white doesn’t show up immediately. They are in no way a “fine” line. If you’re looking for precision, pass.

  • Great erasable pens, except the white
I loved these pens. I have used Taylor’s chalk all my life, but these make it easy to make dots or draw on curves without the fabric bunching up. I noticed that if my hands are very warm, some of the ink will disappear so I don’t have to worry about it not disappearing when I wash in warm water, iron it, or add heat some other way. I do wish the white would work because I sew a lot of dark clothes. I’ve seen other people comment that the white doesn’t work so I know it’s just not mine. ... show more

  • Fantastic Product
I do a lot of sewing. These heat erasable pens have made my life much easier. In particular, when marking very dark or black fabric, the easy application makes it easy to use, to see the marking. no smudge. I can't say enough for them. I highly recommend the product.
