The first one I took out broke in half. Not a big issue. I tried the chalk on a piece of fabric and was truly amazed that I didn't have to apply pressure very much. Bought this cause the pencils I was using weren’t marking well and would catch the fabric. These glide along , making it easy to draw straight lines and always shows up nicely. The lines aren’t the thinnest but I think with a little more effort you could make it more precise.

Chalks arrived in perfect condition & were wrapped so much better than other brands I've used in the past. Easy to mark fabric with, lines very visible, stayed on the fabric while I sewed, was easy to remove just by whacking the fabric with my hands when I finished sewing. (Other chalks have been waxier than these and harder to remove than this was.) I didn't have any trouble with chalks breaking while I used them. Use often and while it does sometimes break, I just use the pieces to continue with tracing and marking the projects. For the price it is well worth the money spent. Just wish they were a bit thicker as to not break so easily. I will purchase again and again.

Very disappointed in the quality. The first time I used the chalk it broke in 3 places. I don't know if the chalk was too dry, too brittle, or too thin. I will never order this product Again. Very disappointed as I really needed it that's why I ordered.
