I needed a sewing chalk that actually works and where I don't have to press very hard onto the fabric, so I purchased this product mainly because of the various colors and nifty container they come in. The first one I took out broke in half. Not a big issue. I tried the chalk on a piece of fabric and was truly amazed that I didn't have to apply pressure very much. The past two different types of sewing chalks I've purchased in the past were duds and didn't show on fabric, but this product is perfect on fabric! So, when I opened this, I didn't expect it to be so soft and easy to use. Like I tried it on one of my lighter fabrics just because it's like a satiny texture and it traced really well. I was afraid that one of them would end up broken like in other reviews but nope, all mine arrived safely! I also like that there's different colors because sometimes i need to mark different pieces I need to put together with different colors. I haven't cleaned it yet, mostly because I'm not quite finished with what I'm making but the excess comes off really well. tl;dr: it's super easy to use, super soft (which is good if you're autistic bc this is sensory heaven to me), and it works so well like I'm actually kinda floored. 100/10 ... show more

Nice to have a variety of colors in a case. Unfortunately the case needs a rubberband to keep it closed and the chalk triangles are Very thin. Thin is great for detail markings - my use is general sewing so they get used up quicker. They make a strong steady line and work well.
