The fan works quite nicely, BUT... 1-Worst instructions ever(I've done a dozen fans and have plenty of experience) 2-the remote unit does NOT fit inside many ceiling boxes(like mine that already had an older fan installed) 3-If your ceiling has ANY slope(mine is about 10-15 degrees), you will need to use a cutoff wheel to remove a piece of the mount(see photo). 4-I could not figure out how to use the old wiring so that the light was on a wall switch and fan was done with the remote. I ended up stuffing the switched wire into the box and the remote controls both light and fan(not ideal, but I can live with it). Its not all bad as the fan looks nice, is quiet enough and the light has adjustable color temp and dimming. ***FOLLOW UP**** after a month, the fan started making a ticking sound at all the lower speeds making it impossible to sleep with it running. Nothing was touched so I have no idea why and purchased a different brand. *** After my initial review, the company reached out and was very supportive and ended up giving me a full refund. Because of this after-sale support, I changed to 5 stars because this is unheard of these days to find a company that supportive and understanding. As I have had ticking with other brands, anyone can have a defective product. The difference here is that the company took the high road and that impressed me. The media could not be loaded. Purchased the white Fan. Suprisingly found the fan blades have a natural oak color on the other side which looks even better for my home！Great quality！The light has different colors and intensity. The fan has different speed. The remote makes everything more convenient so I don't need to get up to turn the light or fan. Don’t need to change the switch either！ Love it so much！ The only improvement I can think of is the instructions booklet. The instructions could be better. It takes a while for me to install it， but I am very satisfied after installation！ ... show more

If you've never installed a ceiling fan before and your planning on installing yourself, Do not buy this fan! I've installed many fans and this has got to be the hardest fan I've ever installed. The instructions are terrible! I had to make slight revisions to get this fan installed. The good part is that once you've installed it, it's a very nice looking and smooth running fan. Not too sure about the quality and how long it'll last, so we'll see! Good luck! ... show more

These were advertised as 42” fans BUT THEY ARE NOT 42”. They measure 38” Unfortunately, I purchase 4 of these and they were installed by my electrician before I figured out they were not the size advertised, or even what is listed on the box (so I know I didn’t order the wrong ones) I am VERY unhappy, but I can’t afford to have my electrician take these down and then install correctly sized ones. I guess I am stuck with these. Really deceptive advertising and packaging. If I could give this ZERO stars, I would. ... show more

We opted for professional installation of this ceiling fan, so I can’t personally vouch for its assembly ease. However, my electrician described it as "very user-friendly." The included remote comes with a convenient mounting option. The built-in LED lights offer a versatile range of settings, from ultra-bright to soft and subdued. I'm impressed by how quiet these fans are; there's absolutely no wobble or noise, even at the highest speed. The remote control is packed with features, including reversible airflow for optimal comfort year-round. The medium to high settings deliver powerful airflow, and the fans look fantastic in our bedrooms. We purchased three white fans and couldn't be happier with the quality, appearance, and price. The fan shakes a lot when the fan is on even at the lowest level. You can only usefully control it with the remote so if you misplace the remote its very frustrating. It barely dims and does not work with a wall switch dimmer. Update - I don't like to use the word "hate", so I'll say I very much dislike this fan. This fan has four different lighting colors which doesn't sound so bad, but when you turn it on and off with the wall switch it automatically changes color and goes on full brightness. It doesn't keep its color or dimness setting. The remote control's function is iffy and sometimes you can't tell if its even working or not. You need to press the button for so long before you can tell if the light is actually dimming. And after all that waiting, on it's lowest setting, the light is still too bright. The fan has one speed...terrifyingly fast, and that's only level 1. Not necessary when all you want is a light breeze. This fan is going back. You truly get what you pay for. That's what I get for being cheap. ... show more

We put 2 of these in screened in porch and they work great! No issues! Had a professional install, but he said it was very easy. They look and function without any issues! Great lighting options and speed Fan options! I do recommend
