This is a great fan for outdoors. It is rather easy to assemble. And with a large selection of fan speeds, it is easy to get the amount of air that you desire using the remote control. The light is very bright and can easily light up an area 12‘ x 20‘.

I bought this to replace another outside fan that has a cage around it Unfortunately, the cage provided a great surface for the mourning doves to build nests. This has worked perfectly. Birds cannot build a nest on the blades or motor compartment. It was easy to put together. We hung it from the hook from the prior fan with no balancing issues. Great quality for the price. Wish I would have bought this one first. It’s quiet and has 6 speeds and 3 levels for the light. The fan/light also has several features. It has a ‘home’ feature that will turn the fan and light off, but automatically turn on for 10 minutes every 2 hours to give the illusion that someone is home. It also has timers in the remote for 1/4/8 hours. There is also a mute button to quiet the buttons when you push them. However, they are quiet anyway. I did contact customer service for more info on the mute button. They responded quickly and clearly. ... show more

Buy this. I like the plug and play so no hard wire needed only a plug. It’s very quiet even on highest speed I had to buy an 18” drop down pole for my application but still worth it. Very easy install as well. Only draw back is the light doesn’t dim but I have dimming lights already installed where this fan is so not big deal really. ... show more
