I'm very happy with this attractive ceiling fan/light fixture. It replaced a clunky old white bedroom fixture that had brass and wicker accents (🤮). It wasn't the easiest thing to install, but that was mostly due to the non-color-coded wiring in our old house and just the nature of installing a large fixture onto the ceiling--although this fan does weigh considerably less than the one it replaced. The fan moves a lot of air very silently. (The difference is night and day compared to our old ceiling fan that wasn't quite level.) I like how the blades are solid black on one side and have a wood texture on the other. It's nice to have options! The LEDs are bright and light up the room very nicely. The included remote allows you to brighten/dim the light steplessly and choose from three preset LED color temperatures (warm/neutral/cool) and six fan speeds. It also features buttons to activate 1/3/6 hour timers and reverse the fan direction. And, of course, the remote can turn the fan and light on/off independently. No more pulling a chain to turn the fan on or fumbling around to find the little switch to reverse directions! I like that they also included a plastic bracket that can be screwed into the wall to house the remote when it's not in use. The media could not be loaded. This remote control 42" ceiling fan has some serious power! This is the first time I have installed a remote control powered fan like this with a receiver box that hooks up to the existing cables. The provided instructions were really clear and easy to follow. The hardest part is trying to get the receiver to lay in the motor area while trying to attach it to the base plate. I would recommend having someone help hold the motor during this step as it is hard to do with one hand. Once the motor portion was attached to the ceiling it was fast and easy completing the installation. The fan has 3 blades and an led light panel. It comes with a remote control as well as a holder for the remote that can be attached to the wall. The fan portion has six speeds. For the amount of air this pushes, I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is. The top speed was blowing papers all over my son's room! The remote has a function that allows you to change blade direction which can help with cooling/heating depending on the time of year/temperature. It also has a sleep setting and a timer function. The light has its own controls on the remote that allow you to turn it off or on independently from the fan. The light has three color modes warm, cool, and neutral. It also has a dimming function which allow you to adjust the brightness of the light. It did come with a ding in one of the fan blades that is worth noting. I did not deduct a star on my rating, however, as it is fairly small and when I colored it with a sharpie you don't notice it is there. All of the ceiling fans in my home are old and outdated fixtures in need of replacement. As soon as I found this one, I knew I had to jump on it. The color is exactly as pictured, and the blades came unmarried. The LED lighting options are perfect for a bedroom. I instslled this in my home office to replace an old 36" fan, and boy, this thing moves some air! The noise level is much lower than my old fan. The installation instructions were good, and I got it installed (with help) in less than an hour. I wished it had a drop-rod, because I would have loved to put this in my front study, but it worked well on the flat ceiling of my home office. This is a great fan for a small room. The blades are short and it provides great air flow. The light is really dim even at its brightest. I like to see what things big or small are on my floor when I am vacuuming and the light on the fan do not provide sufficient lighting for me to do that, but I am glad my vacuum has a light on it. The DC motor runs impressively quiet even at max speed, and having three different light temperatures is actually pretty useful for setting different moods in the room. After replacing my old fan (took about 15 minutes) this worked wonderfully. There was no wobbling and it was silent even at higher speeds. It was very responsive to the remote.
