Great starter set
I bought this to learn how to engrave acrylic with my 5.5w diode laser. I spray painted a steel plate and used that for engraving the acrylic. Try to find the right settings for your machine and your art will turn out great. These are easy to scratch so be careful. I like how the base allows power through USB or battery. Fun light source!
Easy to use. Fun color options. Engravable acrylic for your own laser design. Runs on batteries or USB. Uses up battery power around 7-10 days, so USB power source is ideal. Would be even better if it had an A/V plug option. I recommend this product and would purchase again.

Nearly Perfect!
These are great items to engrave and give as gifts or sell at craft shows, however, if you are familiar with engraving on acrylic, every little scratch will stand out when the acrylic is lit up. For this item, there were scratches in one of the acrylic plates when I received it, and there probably is a way to buff those out but taking the time to do so is counter-productive to the business. Would have given this a five had the product been received in better condition. The base and remotes work perfectly, but as a whole and with scratches, the final product is not sellable; this happened with only 1 of the 4 received.
