The product looked and felt like good quality material. I sent it back unused because I purchased for my grandmother but before it arrived she feel and broke her hip so no cooking for her for almost a year. the company excepted the return with no issues and refunded me my money in full as soon as they received notice that the item had been dropped off for shipping back to them. I had purchased a vacuum from another co through amazon and they rec notice it had been picked up and shipped bk them they rec it but won't issue my refund for 18 days ugh...never had that happen b4.

Great shout out to the design engineer for designing the handle; best concept ever seen in utensils category. Very sturdy durable design since it is a cast iron depth and size is very appropriate; good for single serve and absolute value for money.

Bottom is too coarse

I like the size but the material is very coarse . I use it for melting my butter but it’s difficult to clean, I try to wipe it out with a paper towel but the paper towel leaves pieces as it tears, not like my other cast irons which are smooth and easy to wipe clean.

It’s very cute and serves its purpose- am using it on induction stove. Only problem is the wood handle can go lose and needs to be held well whenever pouring anything out.

My counter with the new cast iron seasoning pot

Have not used it yet. But at the first look, the product come in a plastic paper bag, that's it (no box or wrapping). I jumped at thump sound when it was delivered. I was at the door to check what was going on before the delivery person could knock on my door. Hope there are no hairline fractures to the pot. :0 There was NO GRIDDLE INCLUDED WITH THE POT as advertised. Not happy at all. Next, the handle comes separate while shipping. So, I screwed the wooden handle to the pot. Took it out and tried again, did this multiple times. Why? because there is a slight gap between the handle and pot's extension and I thought I was doing it wrong. Nope, it was not me. I fear that with every wash, the water will seep in and ruin the handle. Ho, it took 9 days to arrive (shipped on the 8th day of placing the order), maybe they made the pot after I placed the order :P Anyway, I purchased the pot for seasoning in Indian cooking. (I read somewhere seasoning in Iron pot is healthier. humm, I will find out soon.). I am planning to keep it, there is no point in returning (for the price). Unlike other cast iron pans, this one has wooden handle - that's what I was going for. I need to pour hot seasoning over my curry, so iron handle won't do, nor the clumsy silicon cover for those handles. Looking at other similar pots, they all have similar design for the wooden handle and probably they will all have similar flaws - with a gap. The other good reason for purchasing this is - it's a (small) pot and not a pan. I wanted the depth. Chances of spilling is less. Ho well, I will update if I find out more, once I start using it. Right now, my cast iron seasoning pot is getting seasoned. Googled about it. There was no instructions provided.
