Description

The 3M Aqua-Pure Under Sink Full Flow Water Filter System Cyst-FF provides water filtration on demand for drinking (water, coffee, tea, baby formula, etc.) and cooking. This system is easy to install and maintain - everything needed for installation is included with the system, no special tools are required, and changing the filter takes an easy twist. The system is designed to hook up to the existing kitchen or bath faucet for full flow filtration while providing a clean look on the counter. Based on testing using Cryptosporidium parvum oocysts.

We have a mountain ski condo with both chlorine and heavy mineral tastes in our water. It was difficult to drink and our coffee terrible. Our dog refused to drink the water so we were carrying in 7gallon containers of fresh dog approved water! Our condo neighbors researched and found this water filter. They said it worked for them. I ordered one from Amazon immediately. When it arrived we looked at the directions to see if we needed anything additional. The install photos showed a picture of the items that were needed. We looked at it and knew we had everything necessary. However this was not true as we started the installation and we had to drive an hour and a half round-trip to a hardware store to buy an adapter that is absolutely essential. The adapter you need is pictured above and is a 1/2”x 3/8” adapter with both sides female. After our installation was complete our drinking water was great and our dog happily drinks water with great gusto! Strongly recommend the filter! ... show more

    • Good filter - hard to install
As others have reported, the system comes with a plastic part that connects from your faucet to the hose going into the filter. That part did not fit my faucet (which was new). I contacted 3M, and there were no other sizes to that plastic part. But they did respond quickly to my email and say what to do. My local hardware store helped me get a 3/8”CMP x 1/2 MPT connector (cost about $4). Secondly, I’m a plumbing novice, and the parts supplied to connect to the water intake seemed like the hose would just slip out. My friendly hardware store helped explain how to install it (the 3/8” ferrule must be positioned as shown in the instruction picture - which really isn’t all that clear). My system has been working a few days now - and all is great. Water tastes great - and I feel like I can trust the 3M filter to actually filter out lead and not be some fraudulent filter from China. ... show more

This product doesn’t include a water supply adapter. Gone three times to Homedepot to purchase this adapter and they don’t have it.

Maybe it’s just me but I think water has funny or off taste. Yuk for drinking but okay for cooking

There was not enough water line included and it couldn't be connected to single lever faucet without buying other connections.

    • Installed in a flash
I put this in my RV. I was replacing a discontinued model, but this new filter fit in the old housing. It took about 3 minutes to install. Very pleased though I have not used it yet as the RV is winterized.

excelente producto filtra muy bien y buen sabor IMPORTANTE! solo tiene que tomar en cuenta que si el agua de la cañería bien muy sucia se le tiene que colocar un filtro antes ( de celulosa de por lo menos 10 o 5 micrones ) por que sino lo colocan se obstruye muy rápido
