    • A Necessary Charger for your Golf Cart
I use 36v 6 batt golf cart to get mail and deliver/retrieve garbge can from the main street access about 100yds away. On crutches so its a vital tool. The standard cart charger is a high current rapid charger which has no maintenence mode. During winter snow months the cart may sit using a car instead. That standard charger does not trickle charge so the battery languishes. This charger provides slower charging but continous charge cycleing keeping the batteries fresh. For heavy cart use, the standard charger is good, then when the cart is not in use disconnect and use this charger filling in and maintaining your batteries correctly. Very dependable chargers. I use two 36 volt ones daily, and also one of the 24 volt chargers. They all charge the batteries to completely full charge, and do it fast. The 36 volt setups are at 39.6 volt after settling the next morning after charge. I use one set of 12ah, and another set of 22ah on the 36 volt and the chargers handle both sizes just fine. I use the 24 volt charger on set of 35ah batteries, and it works great. ... show more

I left my fork lift key on and the batteries were so dead the charger would not turn on. I thought I was out a couple thousand dollars but decided to invest $30 and give it a try. I like this battery charger I have used it three times and it worked well. The only issue is it gets very hot. Hot enough to be a concern usually when a charger gets this hot it is going to fail in less then a year of use. Just not designed to get that hot.
