I bought this battery pack to replace the six 12v lead acid batteries in my 2019 EZGo Express L6 72v. One of the batteries was dying and significantly impacting usability on the steep hills around me. Delivery was a breeze and installation wasn't much more effort. The 105ah 72v battery pack was more or less drop in. I had to swap out and make a few replacement cables with the connectors being in a different place then with the previous lead acid batteries I had. That said this was my first time doing any of this and took a couple of hours all told. The only hard part was when the LCD screen failed and wouldn't read information from the pack. I reached out to Vatrer directly. No fuss no back and forth they sent me a replacement screen which works perfectly. At the end of the day this was a moderate effort to be rid of >500lbs of lead acid for 150lbs of lithium.

This is a Great product! I made this conversion in my golf cart & what an excellent decision it was to convert to this lithium battery. This was a tremendous weight reduction in battery weight compared to the original 6 lead acid batteries. The onboard battery charger for the lithium is great too, so easy to charge. I have a longer run time between charges. I am so happy I made this conversion. So easy to do yourself.

After installing this well designed lithium battery our cart runs better than ever. The display and Bluetooth features offer charging status and battery life clearly. Friends who also bought the same helped with the installation. With their experience we had it installed in an hour and a half.

We switched out our lead acid for the 36 volt Vatrer on our EZ-Go Golf cart. Huge improvement in power and range. Great customer service from Vatrer! Would highly recommend for anyone looking to switch out to Lithium.

So far everything is working as described. There was an initial issue with the controller LCD screen. The LCD screen worked upon initial hook up, but after it was routed into the cart it showed a CONNECT ERR and only 50% standby charge. After contact with the manufacture they quickly replaced the LCD screen and so far no issues. Installation was simple and the golfcart has better performance as compared to the original lead acid batteries.

We replaced the old batteries in our EZ-GO golf cart with the Vatrer 36-volt battery, and it’s been a fantastic upgrade. Installation was simple—even for someone without mechanical experience—thanks to the clear instructions and the helpful guides on their website. The built-in Bluetooth monitoring is a great feature that lets me easily check the battery’s status right from my phone. Our golf cart is now noticeably lighter, faster, and climbs hills with no problem. After comparing several options, this was also the most cost-effective replacement we found.

I had already removed the existing battery pack, and put a 3/4 inch sheet of treated plywood in the battery compartment. This made it very easy to mount the battery pack to the cart. Once I bolted it down, I then screwed the charger down so that it would be "built-in" to the cart. Next was installing the display screen in the front drivers side pocket, used a small drill bit to make some holes through the plastic and installed it easily. Drilled a hole for the wire to go down the back of the pocket and routed it along where other cables ran along the chassis of the cart, and zip tied them as I went. I then routed the cable across the body and screwed it down tight. Once all that was done I cut the old charger port up and mounted a NOCO receptacle into it and bolted it down. Plugged the cables in and was able to charge the battery and test it. As it shipped the battery was at 46%, and was able to charge it to 100% in almost exactly 2 hours. Unfortunately on my Ezgo TXT 36v, I had to figure out how to bypass the charger interlock as the cart wouldn't power up. There's a small red wire that comes from the controller and has a spade connector, I used a female wire with a female spade connector on some red wire, and ran that to the battery positive connector on the battery pack and Voila I was able to get the cart to move! Next day I took it out for a drive and went several miles around the neighborhood and it ran great, only used 4% of the battery. Very impressed, easy install, will absolutely buy again for my Ezgo RXV when the time comes to replace it's batteries. The only thing I could wish for is if they would have provided hardware to bolt the pack down, screws for the dash display and some zipties to neaten everything up. I ran to my local ACE hardware and picked up everything I needed for about $50.
