This splitter is a beast! Packing was excellent - no damage or missing parts. Assembly was well mapped out via video and instructions. Two people for assembly are a must. All functions work great. The log lift will save your back. Work height is very comfortable. Cycle time is fine. Build quality is extremely good, and I expect years of good service from this machine. Ran 20" dia. stringy live oak rounds with the four-way easily - haven't tried the six-way as yet. Be sure to EASE the log lift control and don't let it come up too fast as the round may roll towards you.

I purchased this splitter in November and received it promptly( actually three weeks ahead of estimated delivery). I had a question for the company Full Boar which I made through their website and I found their email address- I have never had a response from them. I assembled the product( three alignment holes were off tolerance and I had to drill out to assemble). I got it assembled. I ran it and enjoyed it for the most part. I used it for a few hours and perhaps a full cord of wood. I'll note that I have been heating with wood for 50 years and also that I sold firewood- the highest volume I produced in one year was 212 full cords of wood. I have owned five splitters, and I still have two TSC County Line splitters working fine for years. I wanted the Hydraulic lift on this.About two weeks ago the Full Boar splitter broke. The photos are enclosed here. The nuts on the bolts just popped off( actually one hit me).I contacted Full Boar through their website and their email address. To no surprise I have not heard from them about any of my emails. If product support is important to you- this is not your company. Perhaps they will contact me. I would love for them to come here and either repair it or remove it with a full refund. Until then I ll use my TSC Country Line splitters.

Shipped fast and was crated very well with absolutely no damage, so kudos to the shipping company. I was nervous about getting it delivered to my home so I contacted the shipping company and they loaded it on to my trailer. everything you need to assemble this is included minus the hand tools very simple to assemble. Once everything was tightened, gassed up and oil added it started first pull. Engine is smooth and quiet. Controls are smooth and after I use a few times it will probably be even smoother. Very well built for the money as I looked at many other splitters at almost double the cost. I am using for residential use but I would think this could handle heavy use with the proper maintaining. Highly recommend buy this if your looking for an upgraded slitter as I was. I will try to add pics and video when I put this to the test a few times and include the splitter I upgraded from which is still a great splitter but much smaller. *****

Pre-run and boxed up very nice. Not missing anything. Takes less than an hour to assemble. Don't bother using the red thing to assemble. Put the wheels on first, turn the I-beam, bolt on the obvious, attach the hydro lines and you're all set. Oil pressure sensor was no good so it wouldn't start. Spark plug was cross threaded and crankshaft nut wasn't torqued but the machine is awesome. What do you expect for a no name Honda? After checking the engine over it fired right up. Great machine for the money. It would cost double to build myself and triple if it was built by another name. Went 10.3 hours on a gallon. Totally worth it.

The shipping was faster than expected, it was packed very well. It took me about 1 1/2 hours to unpack, assemble and add an hour meter to it that I also bought off Amazon. It started on the first pull! Once you get used to adjusting the 6-way wedge up and down this thing is a splitting machine! I looked at quite a few and this one was the best value out there.

I did my homework on this purchase... for anything decent you're spending at least $2500... and that doesn't even have a log lift to it. Can you spend $7k on a splitter with a lift, sure... but why would you when you can get this one for like $3500??!! The instructions were easy to follow, you definitely want a floor jack to help put it together... did it mostly myself and it works great.
