This thing will bring a dead pc back to life. I am somewhat of a tech guy, I have built several computers over the years, but this this particular blue screen of death on my latest computer rendered my machine useless. Went into bios and many other attempts but to no avail. This was my last resort, and it worked like a charm. The only little problem I encountered was the instruction video that is on the usb stick that you should watch before proceeding, it scared the crap out of me, showing all these error messages that it can fix. I thought oh boy, i'm going to see all of these, and it's going to be a nightmare. Wrong! Worked perfectly...first try!!!     • Yes, this is really a Windows 11 recovery drive.
I wish I had been more careful, perhaps using my phone to research options: I deleted all my files when I only needed to recover my boot section. But that was not the fault of this device or programming on it. (I am replacing my files and links through backups; hassle rather than terrible.) This device got widows working again. I was not at home and Windows wants an ethernet connection to fully connected. I researched on my phone how to do a limited installation, then found wifi drivers on this device so could proceed with just my phone hot-spot. This device will travel with me though I hope to never need it again. Email help is invited, though I did not use it. I could have done better if I knew more about re-installing windows, but being away from home and getting this in one day to an Amazon box got my pc working again rather quickly. You should prepare a recovery drive on your own, but if not or if traveling, absolutely this is 5 stars. ... show more

Easy Peasy lemon squeezey!! Just read the directions, like everything else in the world. It does what it says. It’s fast. It boots into an iso file of Windows to install windows on whatever drive you like. Again, read the documentation, it’s not long.
