Although this "tub" is advertised as a dust bath for chickens, I ordered it as a temporary pool for our young geese and ducks because it is fully lined. The 8" height is slightly shorter than the solid rubber tub I have for the adults, and it gives plenty of room for several birds to take a bath. The thickness of the liner surprised me. I was expecting a thin sheet plastic type thickness but this is quite a bit heavier. As heavy as this three ply liner material is, I won't be using it with our adult geese as they can be incredibly destructive and I've seen them successfully chew through thicker material. The first thing the adults went for when I set up and filled the tub were creases on the bottom, and they'd have it chewed through in no time. However, it is great for the younger birds and ducks, which aren't as aggressive as adult geese when it comes to chewing things. Since I don't intend on leaving this out all the time, the fact that it's lightweight and has a drain cap makes it super convenient. I just pull it out, set it on a flat surface that's been clearer of rocks, sticks and anything that can puncture the liner, fill it up and let the birds play. The one challenge with draining is that the bottom of the drain plug is about 2 inches above the bottom, so a lot of water is left sitting. Even just that two inches of water is pretty heavy. One of the best features is the fact this 37" tub can be collapsed flat for storage. I love the fact that I can tuck it into a small space until I need it. The joints/seams between the panels seem to be pretty solid, although it appears to be only two layers thick. There are cut-outs in the inner liner (I'm guessing for flexibility.) ... show more

No complaints from my birds.
Color: Chicken Bath Tub-37.5
Ime using this as a dust bath for my quail and chickens and they love it. It is pretty easy to clean and it folds up small enough for it to fit in my bird equipment chest. The material is pretty thick and is well made, it feels sturdy enough for any of my chicken without them being able to tear it up. ... show more
