Customer service made things right. I was sent a new camera and the new one worked perfect. I really like the video quality from these cameras for this price point. The camera has another feature that I really like. When you have the camera on setup mode, it allows you to see where the camera is aimed. The screen is on the body of the camera and not the door. I also like that the battery compartment comes out. It’s very nice to load. Conclusion: I would get this camera again! Original review is below. **Old review: I have 2 of these cameras and put them out in the woods at the same time. One of them worked great and the other did not. Formated each SD card after putting it in the camera. The same SD card brand was used for both cameras. I put them in the woods 3 hours away and then went back to check on them just before gun deer season. Very disappointed that only one of the cameras worked. Blurry photos, "snow" on the top of the video then nothing. After having them out in the woods for over a month due to the drive I'm out of the return window and I'm stuck with a bad non-working camera. **

UPDATE AFTER USING IT FOR A WHILE AT THE BOTTOM I was looking for a budget friendly trail camera for deer. Did my research on YouTube and this camera was one of the cameras that was reviewed with good marks so I tried it. WOW! Was I impressed! I was expecting performance and quality like some of the other budget friendly cameras I have (Tasco and Wildgame Innovations) but I was more than pleasantly surprised. The still image quality was good but I mainly run my cameras on video and WOW. I originally had it set to 1080 video and it was awesome! I tried it at 720p video and that was great. The other cool feature is how much sound it picks up. I have it on a Vine scrape and I can hear the deer sniffing the vine. You can hear the crunching of leaves as well as they walk. Originally this wasn't a big deal for me but it has an external jack to plug in in external battery. Since purchasing this camera, I have added external batteries to all my cameras which makes it easy when changing cards and not also having to change batteries. This is an option that the Tasco and low end Wildgame Innovations cameras don't have. All in all I am SUPER happy with the camera. If you are hesitant because of the low price point don't be because you will be pleasantly surprised. UPDATE Since the original review I have purchase 5 in total and still impressed. I had one camera didn't power on for some reason. Tried all the troubleshooting steps in the manual but no luck. Contacted technical support and they sent me a new camera. SUPER IMPRESSED. Looking at purchasing more.

I gave this camera an overall 4 star rating, but a good bit of the positive in that rating comes from the low price. With a low price, I have lower expectations. So let's start with picture quality. The product description says 24 megapixels. I have a 24 MP DSLR and this trail camera isn't on the same planet in terms of resolution. Sure you can set the trail camera to 24 MP and you'll get big images, but those images will be extremely noisy and lacking in detail. I also have a very old 5 MP digital camera. I took roughly the same scene with the trail camera (set at 16 MP) and my old camera set at 5 MP. The comparison photo is included in my review. My old camera on the left is clearly sharper and with a greater depth of color than the trail camera on the right. Both of these images are taken from just a small portion of the overall picture, zoomed in to show the lack of detail. The WOSODA G300 Trail Camera pictures aren't bad, but there aren't particularly high quality either. This was a major disappointment. It's very obvious that the nature photos in the product description are professional stock images, and not something you could begin to approach with this product. The WOSODA camera manual actually says that the native resolution of the camera is only 5 MP, and that the 24 MP is "interpolated." The interpolation does not appear to do anything useful. This camera more or less adds noise to pad out the empty space, and even then, my old 5 MP camera looks better than this one. There is simply no reason to set the camera to any resolution greater than its natie 5 MP setting. Anything else is just wasting space on your memory card and probably using more battery. In fact, I think the 5 MP image setting on the trail camera produces better images than the 24 MP interpolated setting. My second complaint is the manual. I cannot understand why these Chinese companies won't spend a couple hundred dollars to get a native English speaker to proofread manuals for grammar and spelling mistakes. The camera comes with a strap you can wrap around a tree and secure with a plastic ladder slider adjust buckle. This is almost impossible to thread while you're trying to hold the thing to a tree, and it's not particularly secure when it's done. You can pull the camera off the tree while it's bucked on. Fortunately, I have another strap from another trail camera that fits. Either that, or just tie a knot and ignore the buckle. I was very concerned by answers from the seller saying that the camera should not be left out in a heavy rain. HELLO? THIS IS A TRAIL CAMERA! It's going to get rained on. I HOPE that the seller is just clueless. I was not thrilled that this takes no fewer than 8 AA batteries to power it. I hope they last a long time. The documentation does not reference rechargeable batteries, but that's what I'm using. There seems to be some confusion on the size of memory cards supported. The manual I have says 32 GB max. I put a 64 GB card in the camera and it worked. With all the negatives, I should note some good points. The first is that the camera is easy to set up and use. You can more or less do it without the manual. The internal image viewer is a plus so that you can check up in the camera field of view without having to take the memory card out and put in some other device to check.

UPDATED: Bought this camera because it was on sale, didn't expect much. I was surprised to see that it takes better pictures than the Stealth Cam brand cameras that are 2x to 3x the price. I have 2 of those which seem to have a narrow view and do not work as well as these. These cameras also have a digital display that makes setup super easy. I like them so much I ordered 2 more. Great product. UPDATE: after several months of using them I have discovered a few things. 1) the battery meters on the screen do not work. This is not a big deal but if you don't know you will think the camera is malfunctioning. All 4 of mine will show 2/3 battery life with fresh or after running for weeks. If you notice the amount of pics your getting in a night decrease. Change your batteries. I go from 500-1200 pics a night (5 sec shot lag) to less than a 100 I know the batteries are weak. Weak batteries seem to lower the motion sensor sensitivity. My Amazon rechargeable batteries (black ones) last around 5k pics on 24mp, 5 sec shot lag. I do not use video mode so cannot speak on that. 2) if you have a camera that didn't record any pics since reinserting the memory card. Format the card in the settings. Maybe 1/20 or 30 times. When you dump the card something doesn't go right and the card doesn't wipe clean which will jam the camera from recording on it. Format the card and all will work again. Also when you reinsert the card put the screen on AIM mode so you can see the screen and ensure that the card mounts sometimes you will put the card in and it will say "memory card error" it is just not seated right and you need to click it out and back in. These things do not happen all the time and would not stop me from buying it. Just little nuisance that I thought might help someone who would otherwise think there was an actual issue. Still love these cameras. Have gotten some incredible pics.

I had this game camera out in the field for 2 weeks. I downloaded pictures twice and then came home to switch out SD cards and it just broke. I take care of my equipment no matter what it costs. I would love to get this problem taken care of with a new camera. The camera was doing great and taking some fantastic pictures of wildlife. Unfortunately, I cannot close the door on the camera and it is now useless. UPDATE: They have sent me another camera - delivery October 27, 2021. I will put it out in the field and review the camera again. I am giving them a higher score due to sending me a new camera. They were extremely sorry for the inconvenience. **************************************************************************************************************************** **********UPDATE: 8-22-2022 Had this camera for around 1 year and the last two times out in the field the date has changed for no reason. The date it changes to is 4-18-2022 every time. The date will progress to 4-19, 4-20 etc. Everything was set perfectly the last two times only to see the date 4-18-2022 appears (frustrating to say the least). I have another Wosoda Camera 16 MP and it does great! Very nice pictures! I would not purchase the Wosoda 24 MP wide angle camera. Many problems it seems unless I have a lemon.***********

Bought two of these. Both use batteries up quickly. One rarely takes photos at night and not at all apparently as soon as the batteries get weak. Testing in my large back yard, both took photos at about 60 somewhat consistently. One would occasionally get a picture at 80 feet. Ranges fall off at night. Photos it does take a very good. Bought these for wildlife monitoring. Have used numerous brands of game cams over the last 20+ years. If you're serious about getting good, consistent photos and like me leave cameras in the woods for weeks at a time, I can't recommend them.

I used this camera from someone back in 2022, I wanted one for myself. Got one a month ago. I can say that it's easy to use and import data from and on to my laptop. I like the built in Night vision for family critters looking food or taking a 💩 in the yard🤣😭. The functionality from regular day time to night seems great, there isn't a delay. Good quality photo and video resolución, would want to get one with higher definition later on but this is what I cam get within my budget.
