They're dangerous, Bought 2 both were charged to about 50%when they arrived, starting charging one and it jumped from 49% to 67% in about 5 minutes and started getting very hot to the touch, unplugged that one and started charging the second one, went from 46 to 69%in about 5 mins and I unplugged it and it started dropping from 69 to 55% in a couple of minutes, I returned the potential accidents to Amazon and I hope no one is hurt by them

I picked up this portable jump starter mainly as a “just in case” item, and after spending some time with it, I think that’s exactly where it shines. The unit itself is very lightweight and compact, to the point where it’s easy to hold and operate with one hand. It doesn’t feel bulky or awkward, which makes it simple to store in a glove box or trunk without taking up much space. In the box, you get a thin charging cable for the unit itself and the jumper cables needed to start a vehicle. Everything feels straightforward and practical. This is the kind of device you throw in your car and forget about until you really need it, which is ideal. One thing I appreciate is that it holds its charge extremely well while sitting unused. I’ve checked it periodically, and it really does not seem to lose power over time. It does advertise the ability to charge devices like a phone, and while it technically can, this is not where it performs best. After fully charging the jump starter, I plugged it into my phone, which was at 36%. Every eight seconds, the jump starter dropped by 1% of its own charge until it reached about 54%. At that point, my phone had only gained about 1%. Interestingly, the jump starter then stopped losing charge rapidly, and after roughly 20 minutes, my phone’s battery had doubled. The tradeoff was steep, though: about 60% of the jump starter’s total power for that gain. It works in a pinch, but it’s clearly not designed to be an efficient power bank. Where this unit really earns its value is as an emergency tool. It may not be ideal for charging your everyday devices, but it is perfect for those moments when your car battery is dead and no one is around to give you a jump. The built-in flashlight is mediocre, but it will absolutely get the job done when you need some light on the side of the road. Overall, for the price, this is a great value. You can’t really put a dollar amount on the peace of mind that comes from knowing you can jump your car in a bind or get a few bars of charge on your phone if you’re stuck. As an emergency jump starter first and a phone charger second, it does exactly what it should.

This jump starter is compact but very powerful. It started a 12V vehicle with a weak battery quickly and without any issues. The clamps feel solid, and the built-in safety protections give confidence when using it. It’s easy to use, charges fairly fast, and holds a charge well when stored. The additional features like USB charging and the built-in flashlight are very convenient and make it useful beyond just jump-starting a car. For the size and power, this is an excellent value for the money. A great emergency tool to keep in your vehicle.

The media could not be loaded. This portable jump box provides a good value for your dollar - currently listed at under 30. The trade off in the price is the quality. The item is made of lightweight plastic. It does not feel durable. The clamp handles are thin plastic. The box charges quickly and did turn over a dead truck battery. The box is functional and easy to use. It is very compact and they include a soft-sided case to keep your pieces organized.
