    • Once the plastic is off the fingerprint reader, works flawlessly!
Size: 1.23 cubic feet Style: 1-Hr. Fireproof, Biometric Pattern Name: Safebox
I was a bit hesitant to order this based on other 1-star reviews here, especially the ones mentioning how finicky and inconsistent the fingerprint reader is. And for the first few minutes I was trying to set it up, I had the exact same frustrating issues others have mentioned, and I couldn't get fingerprints to register or read consistently. ...until, that is, I noticed the little strip of protective plastic covering the fingerprint reader. I have to gives kudos to the factory for their precision work here, because the plastic was fit SO precisely to the reader that it was absolutely invisible until I really started investigating. Once that strip came off, it was a whole new game and I've had absolutely no issues with it since. Of course, I don't know for sure that this is behind the problems others have had with the fingerprint reader (and of course makes no difference to the OTHER problems people have encountered), but I will say it fixed my woes. Otherwise, very satisfied: it's beefy, spacious, the pull-out drawer insert is a nice touch, and I didn't have any issues setting it up once I got it working right. • Solid case with multiple entry options
Size: 1.23 cubic feet Style: 1-Hr. Fireproof, Biometric Pattern Name: Safebox
Great safe with all the entry options you could want. You have can multiple users. The locks can be completely disabled for extra security. The internal space is good and gets better with additional trays. It's solid and heavy. Permanent installation can be intimidating. The fingerprint can be frustrating if you're not consistent with your finger placement. ... show more

    • DON'T BUY. DOES NOT OPEN.
Size: 1.23 cubic feet Style: 1-Hr. Fireproof, Biometric Pattern Name: Safebox
I wished I would've read all the reviews. This safe stopped working and my belongings are trapped in there.

    • Expectations, met.
Size: 1.23 cubic feet Style: 1-Hr. Fireproof, Biometric Pattern Name: Safebox
If it helps at all…there is a small film over the fingerprint scanner that must be removed, or yes, you will never be able to use this feature.

    • Great safe, biometrics work intermittently
Size: 1.23 cubic feet Style: 1-Hr. Fireproof, Biometric Pattern Name: Safebox
Awesome and exactly as expected. Glad I read the reviews about the plastic on the biometrics pad because its impossible to see but it does work intermittently. Sometimes I need to do it 3x to get it open but with the access code, you can just go to that as a backup.

    • Perfect size
Size: 1.23 cubic feet Style: 1-Hr. Fireproof, Biometric Pattern Name: Safebox
Glad I didn’t buy the bigger one as this has plenty of room for all our critical documents as well as other items. No longer need our bank safe deposit box.

    • Disappointing
Size: 1.23 cubic feet Style: 1-Hr. Fireproof, Biometric Pattern Name: Safebox
Solid build. Capacity fine. Durability is excellent. Fingerprint scanner is useless. Spent hours trying to program it and just when I thought I got it to work it didn’t. I question my decision to purchase another safe from this company. My original safe handle seemed like it broke and I had to jiggle it and coax it open. Thank goodness it opened. Did not want to shut it. Didn’t know what I was going to do if it wouldn’t open. I bought a replacement but I’m questioning my decision now. I’d return it if it wasn’t such a hassle. In retrospect I’d buy something else! ... show more
