It took a few days but now pool is staying where we set it at 88° in 60-75° weather. Had this runnin an entire day and it inky warmed my pool 3 degrees. Started at 68 degrees and it only got to 71. Air temp was 75 so I am not even sure the heater did anything. I used recommended pump for it and my 3000 gallon above ground pool. Had to close the pool valves 90 percent before I could tell the water was warmer coming out of the hose. I even put in a smaller pump from a 500 gallon pool and I still had to close the valves 90 percent. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This heat pump is working pretty well. The only downfall is the time it takes to heat up the pool water. That time will be different for everyone because it depends on the weather where you live. It took a full week to go from 55 degrees to 80 degrees, but the outside temp was around 50-60 all week so not very warm. It's not too loud and the app is great. Setup was easy and straight forward. You will need a strong WIFI connection to setup the app. The pump may be able to see the network, but setup may not complete. I had to get a WIFI extender so the signal strength would be better. After I did that, I was able to connect with no issues. Now I am just waiting to see my energy bill. It's supposed to be energy efficient so we will see. ... show more

Control panel came dangling from the wires with a scratched control cover on the bottom of the box. I powered through it all and installed this on our 9x18 above ground. Hard plumbed it too! Only to find that the unit only raised the pool temp by one, yes that's right, 1 degree. Initially I couldn't find a way to contact the manufacturer and I returned the unit for credit. Then I received an email from the manufacturer asking for our pool/pump size and they offered to send me two replacement units to be used in tandem to bring pool temps higher. I didn’t have WiFi in my backyard and couldn’t get the app to connect to the unit without WiFi. The digital display on the unit is not user friendly and trying to set the unit manually did not work. Once I was able to get the WiFi to my backyard and connect the unit to the app,I was able to at least turn the unit on and off which was a win. My pool warmed up 20 degrees in just 24 hours. Overall I’m fairly satisfied with the purchase although I feel like the manual control should be more user friendly. The app is also very generic but it works for now. ... show more

    • No no no!!! RIP OFF!!!
First of all, there’s no support for this item. There’s no one to call to help I had it professionally installed I said it to 104°. It does nothing to heat the water. I had it on for days. The compressor is on and everything you can’t even call the manufacturer to get support. They should be ashamed of themselves charging this kind of money and then on top of it, I paid about $600 to have it installed. What a waste. ... show more
