I was looking for a good projector with a higher lumen brightness and decided o give this unit a try My first positive comment is that the questions to their support team were answered promptly and were very helpful. This is important as the operating manual is brief and did not hit on some minor adjustments you can do. I can use this projector in many settings. With he built in apps (note I was not able to add Dish Anywhere) but with the Netflix, Prime and live tuner it is pretty comprehensive. My grandson already likes to watch some of his shows in large format. My preferred way of using the projector is for USB applications for my holiday outdoor decorations. Which is why aim went for he brightness level of this projector. This projector has exceeded my expectations in the darker environment and I am eager to put it to greater use. So far it has been very reliable. It is portable and the auto focus feature provides a good quality picture. Based on the cost of some higher lumen projectors this is a good value for the money. The sound produced by he projector is clear and I could easily hook up to my Bluetooth outdoor speakers which provided very good audible sound I ran it through several tests. Indoor in. Bright room (okay quality) and outside on the side of the house which is where I do my holiday projections. (Very pleased) Since I use the USB a lot I needed a solution to allow looping of files. I purchased this projector with the plan of building out a garage golf simulator, and so far I’m extremely happy with it. For a budget projector, it really delivers and feels like an excellent value for the price. Even before completing the full simulator setup, I can already tell it’s going to be a great fit for what I have in mind. Setup was simple and straightforward. Mounting it in the garage and getting everything aligned didn’t take much time. The keystone correction and focus adjustments are easy to use, and I was able to dial in the image without any frustration. It feels designed for everyday users, not just tech experts, which made the whole process smooth from the start. The image quality is very solid for this price range. The picture is sharp, clear, and detailed enough for my intended use. I’ve tested it with various video content to get an idea of how it will perform once my golf simulator software is fully installed, and it looks very promising. Text and graphics are easy to read, which will be important for displaying shot data, yardages, and course visuals. For a budget-friendly projector, the overall clarity and color reproduction exceeded my expectations. Brightness is good overall, though I do wish it were slightly brighter. In a darker or controlled lighting environment, it looks great and performs exactly how I need it to. In my garage, I’m able to manage the lighting, so it shouldn’t be an issue once everything is set up. If you have a space with a lot of ambient light, you may need to plan accordingly. That said, considering the price point, the brightness is still very respectable. One feature I really appreciate is the user interface. The UI is clean, responsive, and easy to navigate. It comes with several preloaded apps, which makes it convenient to start streaming content right away without having to plug in extra devices. There’s also an app store available to download additional apps, which adds flexibility and makes it feel more like a smart TV experience. That’s a big bonus at this price and adds to the overall value. The built-in speakers could use some improvement, but that’s not a dealbreaker. They’re fine for basic or casual use, but if you’re looking for a more immersive experience, you’ll likely want to connect external speakers. For my planned garage golf simulator setup, I’ll probably do that anyway, so it’s not a major concern. Overall, this is a great budget projector that gets the job done. It offers strong value, easy setup, solid image quality, and useful smart features. While it could be a bit brighter and the speakers aren’t amazing, it absolutely meets expectations for the price. I’ve tested several budget-friendly projectors, and the Goiaey GO2 has been my favorite so far. I especially like the white model—it has a clean, modern look and blends nicely when mounted on the wall. The auto-focus and auto-keystone features make setup quick and effortless, ensuring a sharp image that aligns properly with your screen. The GO2 also has a shorter throw ratio than many competing projectors, allowing you to place it closer to the screen for a brighter picture without reducing image size. Image quality is excellent in dim or dark rooms. The picture is sharp without looking harsh, and the colors are rich and well‑balanced. As expected for this price range, it’s not ideal in bright environments, but it remains watchable. I can’t independently verify the 3500 ANSI rating, but I thought it performs slightly better than the 2000 ANSI projectors I’ve tried. One small but very convenient feature is the ability to choose an HDMI input immediately when powering on the projector. Since I primarily use a Roku, this saves me from navigating through a home screen every time. It’s a thoughtful touch that improves everyday usability. Another important factor for me was compatibility with my 35-foot HDMI cable, which I use to connect to my home theater receiver. The GO2 handled it without any issues. A different projector I tested displayed incorrect colors (everything appeared orange and pink), so I was relieved that the GO2 worked perfectly. it's a nice enough projector! i was hoping itd be brighter than it is, but it absolutely does the job. i have it placed in a room with one window that is away from the sun at all times, i believe facing the north, and with blinds i can always close. id recommend using in darkness. the contrast on the projector is clearly turned up to compensate for the lacking brightness. im unsure if it is customizable, i havent found the ability to do so. still, i do think it looks nice at this price point, though i dont have anything to compare it to as this is my first projector. the biggest issue i, personally, have is that you can download apps that dont actually work. peacock, for instance, is an app that downloads but only opens to a browser. and, fine, i can deal w a browser but, you learn only going through the trouble of logging in, that the browser version wont work at all through this projector due to the browser being outdated and so, any peacock-only shows like The Office cannot be watched. at least, not without an additional purchase of something like a fire tv usb. still, the other most commonly used streaming services are available. ive attached photos, but i feel the photos are more saturated and come out brighter than the images truly appear in person using the projector, so keep that in mind. ... show more

I bought this projector mainly for casual movie nights in my bedroom. The sleek white body of the projector, looks modern and clean, fitting nicely in my living room without standing out too much. The thing works straight out of the box. From the user's perspective, you operate it works just like a Roku with all the major streaming apps already preinstalled. All you have to do is log into your Youtube, Prime Video, etc. Initially I placed it farther away, like 20 feet from the wall, and I could not get the image to focus. It loses clarity quickly at longer distances, so closer placement is key for the best results. The image quality is excellent when placed about 10 feet from the wall. It's sharp, vivid and colorful. I also like that it does not get extremely hot and burning dust like my old projectors used to. There is also a constant cooling fan sound that you can hear in quiet scenes. All projectors have that, it is not super loud, and creates some white noise. I would recommend pairing it with a separate sound system or external speakers, or may be headphones, to help drown that out and improve the overall audio experience. Upgrading from an older model, I didn’t realize how much I was missing until I powered this one on for the first time. The difference in image quality is immediately noticeable and completely transformed my home viewing experience. The first thing that stood out was the brightness. In a dark room, the image is vivid and punchy, with colors that look rich and natural instead of washed out. Blacks are deeper than on my old projector, and shadow detail is much clearer, which makes movies feel far more cinematic. Whether I’m watching a 4K-supported film or gaming, the picture stays sharp and consistent across the entire screen. Clarity is another major upgrade.
