Love these bed rails! I bought one for my house and one for my mom’s house so my daughter wouldn’t fall or crawl out of bed at night. I also use it as a play area when I need to do some things around the room so I can keep an eye on her and not have to changing her around. I ended up having to buy a few boards to screw to my bed frame so I can secure these to the bed to keep them secure. Not a big deal. You also have to buy the hardware to screw them to the bed because they don’t come with screws. Look at the instructions and illustrations carefully when putting them together. My husband had to take them apart a few times to get them put together correctly because he didn’t want to actually look at the instructions. I like how this one has a headboard rail to keep all sides secure. You can lower the sides to get in and out of bed. You can also lift the bottom up so you can make the bed. The media could not be loaded. We love these bed rails! We cosleep with each of our kids, the first two, no issues, the third however is a tornado! She lives for danger!!! This girl has taken a tumble or two off the bed so we decided it was time to close us in. She crawls and climbs in her sleep, so we couldn’t ensure her safety sleeping between my husband and myself anymore. These have been a Godsend! We have three rails closing us in and for the back I decided to add a pool noodle to the bar and cover it with a sheet, creating a makeshift headboard. I am however giving four stars, cause it would’ve been nice to have a fourth barrier instead of creating our own on the headboard. Also, because we had to add zip ties to ensure the corners stayed together. You strap them together at the base, but the top can come unattached pretty easy. Our little one learned how to take the caps off the corners that hold them together, so right under it we place a zip tie to ensure they don’t come apart. I know a lot were worried about changing sheets and making it difficult. I don’t have that problem, I simply clip the zip ties off, remove the corner caps, undo the straps, pull off the “footboard”, and pull the side out, then reattach everything when I’m done. It sounds like a lot, but it’s really not. We love how easy they are to clean when our daughter wipes snot or food crumbs we missed on the sides, a wet wip works wonders. We also love that we can unzip them and throw them in the wash if need be. My husband isn’t the biggest fan, he says it feels like he’s sleeping in a baby prison. We bought this so that our little one could sleep next to us since the bassinet is too small. We put it on a bed that is directly on the floor since it was not very stable with our bedframe, and with a couple zip ties to really secure each corner together it is pretty sturdy. It works very well to keep our little one from rolling of the bed, and there are barely any gaps on any of the sides so I don't need to worry about by little one getting stuck in a crack. ... show more
