This is a nifty way to stir food while pressure cooking. It actually works very well. The stainless steel pan is perfect for browning meat before pressure cooking. There is absolutely no noise and it has changed my life. Almost any soup or stew recipe can easily be adapted to it.

I'll confess that I'm not a pressure cooker. At least I've never done it. Mostly I got this for the size of the pot. It's a great pot! Handles are sturdy. The size is perfect for anything. I really like that it doesn't have a coating of any sort. A mixer could be used without any risk of hurting the pot. The lids fit well. There's a grate that goes in the bottom that fits neatly.
