The grill arrived quickly, and was well-packaged. The detailed assembly instructions are easy to follow, and the pieces fit together well. The biggest disappointment was the cooking surface. Though the add clearly states, "Heavy duty cast iron cooking grid with total of 434 sq. in cooking area," the cooking grid is cheap, enameled steel. It is a great grill for the price. It is easy to put together but the knobs are a little confusing. It took a while to understand w How to get the temps right. It stops halfway to light unlike a stove knob. The table shelves are nice and easy to use. In the winter I clean it and bring it inside so it doesn't deteriorate in Minnesota winter. It is easy to clean and the temperature reading is nice. I recommend getting the probes that you can use to close the lid and cook it instead of keeping the grill open for too long. Get it to 450-500 and it cooks like online recipes say. I cooked burgers, filet mignon, sausages, hot dogs and I love it. With grills being so expensive I recommend this over the really cheap or expensive options. ... show more

This grill gets quite a bit hotter than my previous grill and seems to be more controllable. It is not super heavy duty but is a really good grill for the price. The materials it is made out of are thinner than my previous grill but so far (probably cooked on it 5 or so times) it lights and cooks very well. Update - now it is 3.5 years of use. Still works great. Thermometer died so going to replace that. Burners and grate still working. Burner covers are discolored but seem fine. Nothing has rusted through just some discoloration on the outside from being kept outside uncovered and from the heat a bit. Would purchase again. ... show more

The primary reason for buying this budget grill besides the price is that it's one of the very few without significant reports of shipping damage. Ours arrived without any noticeable damage and no missing pieces (another problem plaguing other brands). One of the burners has been a little flaky when lighting, but so far I haven't had to use a handheld lighter. Indirect cooking (middle burner off) is a bit less hot than expected, but direct heat has no problem delivering a char, if that's what you're after. The instructions for mounting a propane tank weren't clear, so it took a bit of trial and error to figure out how the support wires should be positioned. I think the diagram may have actually been wrong. See attached picture to save yourself some time. If I had one wish, it would be for a shelf to catch drippings on an aluminum tray or similar. The surface area below the burners is angled, which directs drippings to a small metal cup, but there are holes throughout the panel. If something drips straight down the hole, it'll land on your flooring, so definitely put something there. I've used the grill about 10 times now. For the sale price, I have no regrets. ... show more

My wife and I like to eat grilled food very much. We've had a gas grill for about 18 years. I took good care of it but had to replace it after all those years. We would grill often and had our Son's family over most of the time.. That made it 6 of us for the grilled food. We are older now, Our Son and his family have moved away so there's only the 2 of us. This was the perfect fit for us! there's still enough room on the grill for company, but it takes so much less space on the porch. I like the drop down sides for the convenience of making it smaller when not in use. The grill is made of porcelain coated metal and cleans easily using another great product sold by Amazon called Citrusafe BBQ Grill Cleaner. Just spray it on after the grill cools and wait a few minutes. Then wipe off the grease and burned on crud. Most of the time it needs more that one time to get it clean. I use a plastic putty knife to loosen the thicker crud so as not to damage the porcelain. (Also availabe at Amazon) All in all a Great Product. I would highly recommend this grill. ... show more

Nice barbecue for the money. Heats up very quickly the gauges are Nice to have. Everything seems to work as it should. I do have an occasional flareup. What’s nice is the folding shelves you can tuck it away in a smaller spot.

I'm a 70 yrs old lady and put this together myself. It was easy if you closely look at the diagrams along with the printed instructions! I really love the size of it! - the only thing I don't like is how insecurely the propane tank holder design is; the propane tank wobbles a lot and I really don't like that, so I had to improvise some.
