Description

Is a WiFi connection mandatory for this camera to work? Yes. A 2.4GHz WiFi network is absolutely REQUIRED for the initial setup, live streaming, and receiving alerts. This camera does not function as a standalone, non-connected recording device. My camera won’t connect to the app. How to fix it? 1. Check power (indicator on). 2. Update Ubox App to the latest version. 3. Enable location & Bluetooth on your phone. 4. Try "Reconfigure Network" in-app. 5. Reset by holding reset button 10s till light flashes if failed, retry setup. What to do if the camera does not recognize the Memory Card? Ensure that you insert the Memory Card correctly, checking that the insertion direction and position are correct Reinsert the Memory Card--Power off camera, reinsert the Memory Card into the slot in the correct orientation, then power on the camera The camera goes offline or has a weak signal. What can I do? 1. Ensure the camera is within strong 2.4GHz WiFi range. 2. Disable router "AP/Client Isolation". 3. Restart the camera and router. 4. Factory reset (hold reset button 10s) and re-install via Ubox App. How do I perform a factory reset? Locate the reset button (small hole), use a pin to press and hold for about 10 seconds until you hear a voice prompt or see the indicator light flash rapidly. This will erase all settings and allow you to set up the camera as new.

I've had it installed for about a week now and below are the features that I love: Solar Battery Capacity The camera impresses with its dual power options—solar and rechargeable battery—allowing for continuous power without the hassle of frequent charging or wiring. The solar panel ensures that the camera remains operational, a substantial advantage for those who want a truly wireless outdoor security solution. This setup is perfect for remote locations or areas with limited access to power outlets, and the solar charging capability makes it an eco-friendly option. The IP65 waterproof rating adds durability, ensuring the camera continues to function well in various weather conditions, from rain to snow. However, it's worth noting that optimal solar performance will depend on the placement and exposure to sunlight. So far it has kept its charge to 100%. I have been looking for an outdoor security camera system for 2 years. I've been very hesitant to buy any of them. They all want a subscription or they are very expensive. Because of all the positive reviews on this particular camera, I purchased a two pack. I had a friend help me set them up and I watched him do it. There was no problem at all. We just followed step by step instructions. He installed them outside. The bonus was when I realized that this camera pans from one side to the other and tilts up and down. I have a perfect view of everything I want. I am so happy. When I investigated the subscription it was only a $1.99 a month so I purchased it for both cameras. Very inexpensive for the year. I am not a very techy person and these cameras are very easy to understand and the app is easy to use. If anything goes wrong I will update this post. But for now, I am just so happy about this purchase. Very affordable. The pictures are beautiful. Night time vision in the pictures are beautiful. I bought 4 of these for monitoring our home, 1 on each corner. The mounts included were easy to install, but I had to fabricate an extension for 2 to be able to rotate to look down 2 sides of the house. Definition is excellent and the night spotlight works well to illuminate for clearer viewing. I’m using SD cards to record movement alerts. The movement sensitivity is adjustable, the solar panels keep the batteries charged and hardware included gives you everything you need for installation. Connecting to my WiFi system was easy. The app settings give me all the options I need. Some features require testing to see which fits your needs, but is not too hard to figure out. I enjoy the peace of mind these cameras provide when we are away from home to get delivery alerts or check on our house. Customer service from the manufacturer has been excellent. I had a mechanical issue with one cameras tilt operation and Monica shipped out a replacement that arrived quickly. They responded within hours of my inquiry. The best cameras , afortable and works perfectly 👌, night and day and i loved that it turns so view is great and is colored view , motion detention had to set on low because is super effective and detects everything even on low so thats great, it has sound and night light. Battery life havent had any problem. I actually have 4 on vacation home, 4 on each of my parents house and brother and recently bought 4 for mine i change from adt home security (that sucks). To this solar ones that turn out to be the best.
