I came back for another bottle! This perfume is perfect! It’s yummy! Not super vanilla-y which is good because I don’t like that. Not floral which I was glad. It’s pleasant and lasts long. Doesn’t offend others by being overwhelming. Great price and compact so no travel issues. Because of the price I didn’t mind trying it first. Glad I did and that’s why I came back for another bottle. I’m used to Burberry Brit which is nothing like this but was my previous expensive signature scent. Will be making this my own signature scent! Don’t need to break the bank. ... show more

Cozy, Grown-Up Vanilla in a Perfect Purse Size (Strong Amber, So Go Easy)
Scent: Vanilla Nocturne
I picked up GUFMLA Vanilla Nocturne because I love vanilla, but I do not want the “birthday cake” type of vanilla. This one surprised me in a good way. It is a warm amber-vanilla that feels more mature and musky than sugary. On me, the vanilla is there, but the amber is what really leads, so it comes off as cozy, slightly sexy, and more “night out” than dessert. Performance is solid for a travel spray. One or two sprays lasted for hours on skin, and even longer on clothing. It is also genuinely convenient to carry, the bottle is small enough to live in a purse, bag, or pocket, and the sprayer on mine worked cleanly without leaking. The only reason it is not a full five stars is that the scent profile will not be for everyone. If you are hoping for a sweet, fluffy vanilla, this may lean too amber-heavy. Also, the marketing around “pheromones” is something I take with a grain of salt. I buy it because it smells good and wears well, not because I expect magic. Pros Warm, elegant vanilla that avoids smelling like cake Strong longevity for a 15 ml travel spray Easy to carry, good sprayer, convenient for reapplication Cons Amber can overpower the vanilla depending on your skin “Pheromone” claims are subjective and not something I count on Would it make a good gift?
