I appreciate how simple this is and that it requires no configuration at all. The temperature is kept pretty consistent in my 6 gallon tank. I would prefer a temperature setting for different fish that may have different preferences, but this does work well for the Betta fish I am keeping.

I am an Amazon Vine reviewer, and I chose this item, which I received for free, in return for an HONEST review. (I do pay taxes on all Vine products.) I am reviewing the 25W small aquarium heater preset to 78F sold by the pamaner store. I chose this heater for my 10 gallon aquarium. I have guppies in there and 78F is a pretty ideal temperature for them. I like that this heater is compact and didn’t take up a lot of room in the aquarium. Since I didn’t have a similar size bucket to test this heater, I went ahead and placed it in the aquarium early in the morning, so I could keep a close eye on the temperature of the tank. After about 4 hours, the temperature of the tank had increased from 78F, which is what I had the old thermometer set at, to 82F. I had to take this thermometer out because 82 F is just too hot for guppies. I checked the temperature with the analog thermometer in my aquarium, as well as two separate digital thermometers that have been calibrated. Unfortunately, this is a no go for me. If I had fish that liked warmer water, like a Betta, this might be a good fit, but for tropical fish, it just made the water too warm. This is the last time I try a thermometer that isn’t adjustable. I am not able to recommend this product, as it was about 4 degrees hotter than the preset temperature. I might be able to use it in my greenhouse to produce warm humidity for my plants, but that’s about it. I hope this review helped and happy shopping!
