Just as promised, this Kzfuli 24V Thermostat Power Adapter works great with our smart thermostat. For some reason we did not have a reliable 24V AC power source wire located at our thermostat position, so we needed to add one to power our new smart thermostat. And this product solved that problem, at least for the short term. At some point we will need to investigate the original issue further, but right now everything is working great. It was good to be able to find this power adapter that blends in well and looks like any normal power adapter. Many others are just an open transformer meant to be mounted on a beam in the basement, but that was not a good option for us at this time. And there is plenty of wire to be able to locate the power adapter far away from the smart thermostat and hidden from view.

took about 4 minutes to install and has solved the problem of a weak low voltage transformer on my home furnace. I don't have to put in a thermostat that has batteries that I have to worry about on vacation, and was really simple to install. Simply pull the thermostat out of the mounting bracket, remove and cap off th wires that are on the C and RC terminals (if you have them on your system), and connect the two wires from the transformer to the C and RC terminals (does not matter which wire you connect to which terminal). Plug in the transformer and it just works.

I received this adapter hoping to solve the problem with the battery always going out. After removing my ring doorbell and wiring this up, the doorbell did not work. I tested to ensure the wire was not broken with my testor and it was showing electric output. I guess what is going through the adapter plug in or weak wire, it is too low of power or it is converted to DC and the ring 2 is expecting AC. Either way, it is not working for the Ring 2 Doorbell (original version of the Ring 2). I have no knowledge about any other product as listed with this product's description or title. Since the wire is not broken and everything appears to be in working order, I have not contacted the seller or manufacturer. I may be able to use this for something else. After comparing this product to other items, I do not believe the priduct is worth the $17 or so being asked for. This is way too high. My model train plug and wire was only $12 and it has a bigger DC converter on the plug similar to this one. I can not recommend this product

I wanted to replace my old battery-powered Honeywell thermostat with a smart thermostat, but I realized that the cable from the HVAC in the basement to the thermostat upstairs did not have a C-wire. The C-wire provides power that smart thermostats require. This power supply allowed me to install my new thermostat without running a new cable from the basement to the thermostat. I plugged it into a nearby 120V AC socket and it provided the 24V AC power that would normally come from a C-wire.
