  • Full PWM and RGB LED control in a well designed hub. I am thoroughly enjoying this Fan Hub!
Color: White
I am thoroughly enjoying this Fan Hub! Build quality is excellent. All the 4-pin PWM and the RGB jacks were a perfect fit. I have other fan hubs where this isn't the situation. This hub I had no problem at all. I like that the PWM and RGB jacks are next to each other to allow for easy hookup of the FANs. It also helps with the cable management. In my case each PWM fan has an RGB cable, and they can be tie-wrapped together and routed cleanly to the hub. RGB can also control strip LEDS on cables. This hub case itself has LEDs built in. This is a great feature, as it can be positioned to view from a PC side glass panel. There are many patterns and presets built in, and I could not go through them all. It also takes input from the motherboard for PWM and RGB for even more control. Don't worry about losing the remote. There is a remote "Reset" switch that allows cycling through all the programs and colors this hub has. It will also power off the LEDs if a long press is used. Hook this header up to the PC case's reset switch, or add another switch. This is really about the only use case I have for a PC reset switch. This hub also has an ARGB sync header to allow motherboard control of LEDs. The magnet on the hub is weak. It just wouldn't stick well to the steel parts or sides of the case. I have some adhesive-backed neodymium magnets I can use instead. I'll use one magnet for the back of the remote as well so I can attach it to the PC case. For the price, this is a significant value. It has excellent features and functionality. It looks good, it's built well, and I can highly recommend this hub! ... show more

  • Nice design, easy to install, great for older motherboards or MB's lacking ARGB header.
Color: Black
My case came with RGB fans but my motherboard didn't have an ARGB header. This fan hub was a nice solution. I just ordered a second case and another one these for another recently built computer. I like having a remote to control the lighting. It's easy to set up and works great!

  • Simple, and can be used completely standalone.
Color: White
I'm using this 'hub' to run fan ARGB/PWM in a standalone setup. The mainboard I'm using has no ARGB control, and does not use a typical ATX PSU with SATA power ports. So, I'm powering this as a standalone controller, using only the remote to control fan ARGB LEDs, AND provide additional fan PWM signals... and it works great! It has no issue running a separate fan on top of the rack with the same power supply and controller. With just the remote, I can control the fan LEDs and the speed of any connected fans via PWM. Simple plug and play, with no adapters needed. Hopefully both this hub controller and the PS running it, hold up over time without failure, but overall the value of this vs other methods is clear. There are spare cable connections since I'm not using ARGB or PWM inputs. I just tied them out of the way. I can see a use for this running many fans in a different setup just as well. ... show more

  • Not bad. Does the job at a good pricepoint.
Color: Black
First, my creds...I worked in IT for more than 30 years and have built hundreds, if not thousands, of PCs. That said, I have to admit that I am fairly new to the whole ARGB lighting game and this is only my fourth controller so there was a bit of a learning curve that I will share at the end of this review. What I liked: The magnetic back made it easy to place in the case in a relatively concealed location (as well as easy to pull out to make changes). The remote control is a great way to be able to change colors, fan speeds and light brightness. There are a lot of other options if you use a program like SignalRGB to control the lights. What I didn't like: The instructions were less than worthless (unless you happen to read Mandarin). The only useful information was on the ad and I would not expect an amateur to wade through this without severe frustration. (Maybe an online video - IN ENGLISH!) The connection points for the 3-Pin cables were very difficult to insert and nearly caused me to damage the controller. The 4 pin connectors functioned very well. The price was right because the computer I installed this into is about 11 years old and came out before the whole RGB lighting craze (let alone ARGB). Now, for the tips & tricks... For the techies, I installed this in a PC with an ASUS M4N72-E motherboard and a five-pack of Thermalright TL-C12C-S Case fans (also available here on Amazon). Neither the fan nor the controller instructions were worth a flip, so let me tell you now, the 4-pin connector controls the fan speed and the 3-pin connector controls the lighting...i.e. you need to connect BOTH wires to the controller. This does however allow you to connect things like unlighted fans and RGB light strips or even both of those to a single port. There are four additional connections on the controller: 1. The SATA power (you can use a MOLEX power connector with an adapter) 2. The MB/Syn connector is to connect to a 3-pin ARGB header on your motherboard (if you have one) 3. The RESET connector - If you want to use your case's reset button to change light colors, connect it here (and, of course, it will no longer work as a reset button) 4. The PWM control cable - this is supposed to allow you to control the fan speeds from the motherboard. The name of this header on your motherboard can have several names including CHA_Fan, PWR_Fan and SYS_Fan (among others). The thing to note here is that this cable only has two wires (for 12v and GND). There is no connector for the Rotation pin (i.e. Fan Speed). I honestly can't say this cable will do anything as there is 12v supplied by the SATA connector. Someone let me know if I am wrong here. I have yet to try light controller software (such as SignalRGB) on this configuration but I don't hold a lot of hope of success because there is no real connection - either (A)RGB header or via USB header (available on this MB, but no connection to this controller) I hope this was useful and not too verbose. ... show more

  • Unbelievable quality at a great price.

Worked exactly as advertised. Very easy to install all my fans. Plays very nice with my X870E motherboard. Plays nice with my case. Couldn't believe how great the remote works and all at a good price. Would highly recommend if your looking for good plug and play experience.

  • Awesome!
Color: Black
Wow, older MB and this thing is great for ARGB fans. I was thinking of staying with my blue color but once I got it wired up (easy to place with magnet), I just let it do its thing - great color rotation and one click for a solid if wanted. I've used this brands fans too - good stuff and great value. For me it helps on cables - one hub. ... show more
