Let’s talk about the install. I removed a light fixture in the living room for this fan so in many was it was relatively straight forward with a couple exceptions. You may want a pair of wire strippers, pliers and extra 14/16 gauge wire. The wire ends attached to the fan needed a bit more housing stripped off and you will need to attach a ground wire to the fixture mount ground screw (wasn’t provided) first and then attach to the ground of the fan with the provided wire nut. Smallest gauge I had was 14 so I used that. 16 is probably more optimal just for the greater ease of getting it attached to the mount. Other than that getting the mount and wiring installed and connected was fairly straightforward, along with getting the fan attached to the mount via the safety catch also. The final install portion was the most difficult part: attaching the fan to the mount. It was a bit of a struggle getting the base configured to stay on the opposing slotted set screws. Got those on after a bit of a fight. The instructions only mention one safety screw but there are two, one on each side 90 degrees offset the initial slotted set screws. You will want to install both of them because it just doesn’t feel all that secure without. You will need a long Phillips screwdriver for this as you have to reach in between the top of the fan and the ceiling and there isn’t much space to deal with. Then you have to use the Force and hope that the screw gets in the opening enough for you to apply pressure so it doesn’t fall first before you can tighten it in. I dropped the screws several times. Luckily they either bounced to the floor or stayed on top of the fan’s cage assembly. The instructions say to clean this fan you need to take it all down from the mount. Heck no. That fan ain’t coming down until/when it breaks. Okay. After install the rest was golden. Installed the app on my phone and everything was great. The app does need your wifi name and password. I’m assuming you have that but if you don’t the app won’t work. The remote can still operate the fan but the app is actually pretty dang slick. Only thing I don’t like are that some of the lighting “scenes” are actually a bit nauseating with rapidly flashing blinks. I just avoid those. You can control the solid outside light with color and intensity or choose scenes, as well as fan speed and direction. It’s all super intuitive. Mostly I bought it for the fan though. We have an older house and all the vents are on the floor. This means when the AC is on the cool air stays low. I have had two floor fans on each side of the living room directing air upwards. This fan is currently doing the task of those two floor fans with ease on a medium speed setting. Bottom line. The install isn’t overly difficult but I highlighted some of the issues I encountered. The fan works very nicely, the lighting is cool and the app works very well with the fan/lights.

I'm using this fan in my "gym" which is a 10x10 spare bedroom. It is light enough that it was very easy to install and didn't require being balanced to run properly in my older home. It keeps the room cool and I like that I don't have to worry about hitting the fan blades when I'm working out because they are enclosed. I also like that the brightness is adjustable with the push of a button so if I decide to do an early morning workout, I can still the keep the lights a little lower, afternoon workouts I can have it brighter, and on days I'm really not motivated I can change the color to Pink. It is also very quiet when the fan is on which is great so it doesn't interfere with my music or if I want to follow along to a video.

We bought this for safety in a child's bedroom. A regular ceiling fan blade was too dangerous in a room with bunk beds. This is perfect. It is easy to install with a bright light. We love the remote control and color-changing lights. It works great and looks great.

The unit is of good quality. All made out of plastic. Don't expect super high durability. Standard, like everything else, is made today. Light is bright, good for a room 10x10 or a little bigger. The unit works well—controls with remote and phone app. Also, you can turn the light on and off with a wall switch if you have one. The fan runs well with 6 power settings. A fan is only effective if you are standing directly underneath the fixture. if you take a step in any direction away from the fixture, you won't feel the fan anymore. Overall happy with this device. I wish the fan could cover more area. Before installing, find a 6 -7 inch piece of green wire for ground, it's not included, and it makes installation easier.

I like the ceiling light and fan combination, using this replace a Hunter fan. I like the fact that I can use Alexa or Google to turn on or turn off features. The fan is small but it circulates air in the room. Unless you sit below the fan you won't know it is on, but that is because it is quiet. There are no distracting fan blades moving on the ceiling. The best thing is the bright light and the dimmable features for night light. This is in a living room, Kitchen area of the house, and the bright light and night light are our favorite settings. You can change colors in various patterns - visitors like that but we use the night light feature all the time and I cannot be happier. I recommend this LED light and fan combination. It is one of the best improvements we have made in 14 years. Eventually I will install these in every room of the house, at present we have four with one in the Formal Living Room, the TV area, and Master Bedroom. I have another one in a small bedroom used for a study.
