    • First Look- Frustration gone!

First off, I was excited this morning as I unpacked these pots and pans. They're very nice looking and quite a nice uprade from the Telfon ones we've been using. Everything was well packed and look great on day one. I loaded up the dishwasher and turned it on, leaving one small pot to put on the handle. After about 15 minutes of trying to put it on, I started thinking there must be some instructions. Either there were none or they didn't arrive in the box. I went back to trying to get it on the pot but remain frustrated. I finally went back to the ad to ask if I'm missing some instructions or to see if there were any reviews to help me out. I could easily get the handle on if the metal cover on the base of the handle was left off, but getting the screw lined up was very frustrating. Then i saw it, instructions! The very picture is, "How to install". Well heck, I had no problem intalling as the picture showed, see my photo. The problem they didn't resolve, now that the handle is on, how do you get the medtal cover on the base of the handle. That was the start of a much longer rant. However, I fortunately resolved the issue before it got posted so I didn't look like an idiot. I was lucky to figure out what was wrong. Open all the handle packages before you start. There are two different varieties one for the pots and one for the pans, I was trying to put the frying pan handle on a pot. If you open them all, everything will go smoothly. It's hard to tell how they'll hold up over time but the teflon coated set we were using was shot in the few years we've had them. I'll update if we find any issue with cooking and cleaning them afterwards but I'm not expecting any issue early and t will be too late to matter five years from now but we're not into spending a fortune on cookware. ... show more

I really like ceramic cookware as I find it so much easier to clean than other types. This set with the faux wood handles has a unique look that works perfectly with my aesthetic. The set itself comes with everything you could need: a tiny one egg pan that I adore, your typical larger sauté skillet and matching junior version, high sided pan for saucy dishes, stock pot, smaller pot with handle, cutting board, steamer insert, silicone utensils, measuring spoons and baking sheet. I might have missed one or two things because there’s just so much that comes packed in the thoughtfully packaged box. The quality is good. I wouldn’t say it’s excellent. The handles are screwed to the pots and pans with a single Philips head bolt. I’m sure this will require tightening in the future after frequent use, but it was very easy to put together. While I’d much prefer riveted handles that are permanently affixed, at least these are easy to take apart and put together if you want to store it. For cooking, the pans heat like a normal pan. My typical workhorse is a name brand Teflon pan that I use for basically everything and these pans work just as good. They heat up just fine and seem to distribute heat evenly. Clean up is where these shine. I just find ceramic to be so much easier to clean than basically everything else. I also prefer these to the in vogue cast iron, which is fussy, heavy, and a general pain. The only thing you need to be careful of is using anything abrasive on these. Metal utensils are a no no as they’ll scratch the ceramic. Overall I’m very happy with this set and will be using it as my primary cooking set moving forward. ... show more

These pots and pans are great quality and very pretty. The handles look like real wood grain and the color on the outside of the pots and pans are solid and consistent. The coating is non-stick and does not have any rough or sticky points. The utensils and bakeware are wonderful. Everything included is easy to clean. The pots and pans warm evenly and food easily slides off surfaces. I am very pleased with this set and would order another from this brand easily. ... show more
