    • My expectations were low and I was pleasantly surprised.
I bought this to mount a modern 27" and an older 17" monitor together while changing the angle my desk is approached at as well as making a bit more "earthquake proof" as the 27" was previously on top of a few towers. I wasn't expecting much for build quality and clamping force, so I expected to have to engineer a top brace to keep everything stable. I'm surprised to say that I was not in need of a top brace, though I may add one anyway, and the overall build quality was quite nice. I did add a couple of more large screws to the bottom bracket (there's 4 holes, might as well use 4 screws) and I also added a headphone hanger at the top. The cable management bits were just "OK" but I've got 3M Velcro cable straps coming out of every orifice, so I just augmented them with cable straps. I will say that I was not very impressed with the table clamp screw handle strength but it's a "set it and forget it" part, so I don't expect to have any real problems there because it's a little flimsy. In my opinion the biggest area for improvement would probably be a larger bottom "foot" as the included one is just long enough to get wedged while you tighten down the table clamp (or take up slack to tighten down); another 10MM or 20MM overall length would probably keep this from happening as well as get just a bit more spread on the clamping load. Anyway, for the budget price, I'm very happy with my purchase and will be purchasing from WALI again should I happen across their products in my needs. Update 3/6/21: I did end up adding the trip brace and it feels as solid as can be. This is a good thing because I added another pair of arms and now have the original 27", a 19" widescreen, a 17" 3/4, and a 19" 3/4 on it along with a headphone hanger. I am still thoroughly pleased and have to say it's one of my favorite purchases in the last year or two. Stop hesitating and just buy it if you've gotten this far. ... show more

Super easy to use and setup. My only complaint would be that sometimes heavier monitors make the final joint by the vesa mount sag, so you have to crank down on the tightening screw so hard that it completely locks in place. However, I do have a 25-30 lb iMac monitor on one of the arms. That is not a problem at all for the normal sized monitor in the other arm. I mounted the clamp base into a veridesk, so because of the mounting surface this isn’t perfectly rock solid, but if you had a gromit base mounted into a heavy desk, you could probably tow your car out of a ditch with a winch looped around that vertical mounting post. With the setup that I have, I only used one of the sections for that main vertical post. If I kept it screwed on you would be able to see it clearly over the monitors. In fact it’s got me thinking about putting it back on and adding a third monitor or something up above. This setup, clamped to a veridesk with all of that weight is a little bit flimsy, the monitors rock slightly under the weight when raising or lowering the desk, and sometimes it will rock a little when I lean against the desk or move it at all, but other than that it’s holding everything securely. I got this to compliment a standing desk and it works great. It is very well-made, easy to assemble, and adjusts to whatever your needs are. The arms enable flexible positioning of the monitors so that they can be set at an angle facing in (or not), and can elevate to whatever height is desired. Excellent product. It does require a VESA mount capability on the monitor. I have a nice 23" monitor that I couldn't use because (WTF?) it didn't have a VESA mount on the back. ... show more

I was wowed when I opened this box. For the price I paid I did not expect this exceptional build quality or attention to detail. The standing parts are solid steel and very sturdy. It's sturdier than the standing desk I've attached it to. The small parts are included in a long package, segmented and labeled. Please note my photo shows some empty segments because I've already built the stand. I had trouble after mounting the monitors because I couldn't make them level with each other, and one seemed slightly rotated. I had to take the base apart, rotate the pole, and re-attach it to make it straight. Then after re-watching the product video, I realized the individual monitor mounts rotate with a little pressure. Problem solved! Now they're perfect. Before this arrived, I had hesitation mounting two heavy screens over my brand new ultrawide monitor, but now that I've assembled this stand myself, and seen what it's made of, I'm confident. I was practically done setting this up in less than 15 minutes and by far the easiests of the mounts I have ever assembled/used/tested. I chose this product as it was a taller mount and offered to mount a pair of monitors (upto 27") on top of my existing 32" monitor setup (3-pairs). This was both a requirement and a nessecity and I didn't have much room to play with the positioning of the vertical pole/stand and the arms and the existing real-estate. The design/flexibility of the product (maneuvering the arms for perfect positioning) was truly awesome in my openion. And hanging the monitors was a breeze. Very happy with the product and will probably stick to the brand in future. The vetical pole is about 1.5" in diameter and might not feel sturdy enough (I previously had 2.5" diameter poles) but it does the job very nicely and I am really happy with the end result. Overall, very well thought out design and practical in applicability (not overweight and not flimsy...money well spent). I would highly recommend this to anyone using upto 27" monitors weighing around 10-12 lbs. ... show more

I added 2 screens to my trading station. The mount attached to the desk. This mount is very well built and heavy duty. This is set up to be initially adjusted and then not moved. So you set it and then there it is. When you go to install it, initially the allen bolts are very tight to loosen to adjust the arms. The mount comes with all parts and allen wrenches included.
