These lamps come in overly complicated packaging, but they were in perfect condition so kudos to whoever designed that! Anyway, lamps are the perfect size for bedside lamps. I was worried they might seem small, but a full sized picture frame fit under easily. Love the matte black and square design. The tap on and off is also a cool feature, but I have Alexa bulbs so we will see if it’s used at all. EDIT: I see a lot of people saying these don’t work with smart plugs.. just get smart bulbs. You can get ones that don’t require a hub.. then they can be dimmable and multicolored.. rather than just on/off. Just an idea! (I’m going on 7 years with the same bulbs so they last forever!) I think the best feature is the USB-C plug.. you can finally use the useless cord that came with your last iPhone but no brick for the wall. I do wish the lamp shades had black wiring. I get that they are meant to fade into the white interior part of the shade, but it looks weird with the black pin on top in my opinion. I might just spray paint that part. ... show more

UPDATE: Company reached out and is sending two new lamps at no charge. Hopefully the usb failure was a fluke. I will update if they fail again. Both Usb ports stopped charging after less than 1 week. Debating returning this even though I discarded all the boxes it came in already. What a piece of junk! ... show more

You can just tap the base or handle to use it as a switch…effortlessly even if you’re very sleepy! Unlike my previous lamp I have to get up from the bed and turn it off. Such a hassle if you’re already sleepy. Brilliant invention! A must buy!

I love these lamps. I especially wanted a small size lamp to put on a 9" wide floating shelf. Thanks to very helpful customers who gave me the shade measurement, I knew these would be perfect. Super sensitive to simply tap on and off, it's perfect for our guest room. Very pleased!
