I ordered this insert to use in my DIY faux fireplace project. It fit perfectly!!! The heater works amazing, and gets extremely hot within seconds. The heater is a little loud when on, but nothing too distracting. I love the remote control feature because I don’t have to get up and press the buttons to change settings. The flame projection is also so nice and calming to stare at. Definitely worth every buck!!!

I absolutely love this heater! We had a lovely electric heater fireplace but the blower went out and the model isn't made anymore so no parts to replace. We tried a few other things to fix it but it came down to just replacing the whole thing. I found this heater though and after measuring, I realized if I gutted the one we had and used it shell, this would for perfectly. And it worked. Perfectly! The flame is lovely and the setting called "charcoal candle" make it look much realistic. The heat is solid and has kept a very very large space comfortable for the last few days. I love it!

We bought the whiteish gray logs style, even though another reviewer advised against this color. We love the look of the logs! I really wanted something to go into our fireplace mainly for the ambiance, and not necessarily the heat or sound. This was an affordable price, so we crossed our fingers and hoped it would give us the "feel" that we wanted. I was not disappointed! I love how it looks in our fireplace, and even the amount of heat it emits since we did have a few colder evenings. It's very relaxing, and soothing. The remote works great, and I like the dimmers for the lights to give different levels of "fire". I REALLY like the control of the flame speed, as a previous free-standing faux fireplace we had didn't have this feature, and I hated the frenetic flames that made me dizzy when I looked at them. The only reason I didn't give this five stars is because it doesn't have a volume control for the sound, and that seems like such a big oversight. I would love to listen to the crackling fire sound, but it's too loud, which also makes it unrealistic sounding. At least it has a control to shut off sound. I think this fireplace is very nice for a lower end faux fireplace, and I highly recommend it.

I switched out my gas logs for this electric model. It has several settings, one I use in warmer days is just the flame effect without the heat. The heat when needed has 2 settings, high or low. Its a well made, real looking flame & logs.

I love this thing! It’s cheese. It in no way looks realistic. And that’s not why you’d want it. You’d want it b/c it’s fun, cute, and adds insta-cozy vibes. The sound effects are too much. The crackling sounds like the house is an inferno. I found it panic inducing. Birds? Why are birds singing in my fire logs!? Water? Wind? Maybe there’s an earth ended in there. Or Mary Poppins. Either way—I love it! It’s pure fun.

I am really happy with this Electactic fireplace insert. It was incredibly easy to set up—I just plugged it in and it was ready to go. I love that you can adjust the flame brightness and flicker speed. It creates a really nice, relaxing glow in the room while relaxing. A few things I love: The Heat: The two settings (750w/1500w) take the chill off my room quickly. Safety: It has overheat protection and stays cool to the touch. This is really important to me because I always want to make sure my home is safe for my pets. The Remote: It’s very convenient to change the settings from across the room. If you have an old fireplace mantle or a real fireplace sitting empty, this is a perfect and affordable way to make it look beautiful again. Highly recommend!

Next best thing to a real fire place ... the only issue with this unit are the white aspen logs .. When not in use they are totally white and look very fake .. I had to do a little art work to tone them down and really make them look a bit more authentic .. They have a couple of other models you can choose from depending on your preference... The handy remote is really a plus to regulate the flame, brightness and heat .. I noticed that in order to achieve a more realistic back ground flame you need a reflective back ground to enhance it .. The flame is projected by a rotating mechanize lighting in the back of the unit .. A more reflective back ground enchances the flame effect .. The heat output is not bad and has different settings as well .. You also have the option to use the flame lighting without heat .. We liked it ...

Easy to install in fireplace, has pleasant appearance. Wanted a fireplace for ambiance year-round without heat, especially at night with lights off. No noise when heat is turned on, do not need the heat but a nice feature I will probably use a little in winter to take chill out of family room. I have an autistic grandson who tried to turn on the fireplace in the past and I had to get a free standing one in front of the fireplace to make him happy. So, he happy with this one.
