Works great!!! Used it to loosen the soil in one of my flower beds so I could add some new plants in between existing plants. Very easy to maneuver and loosen the soil without disturbing the established plants. Did a great job of tilling the soil and breaking up roots, leaves and other materials into the soil.

I may come back and re-rate. I used this set for the first time today working in a 2ft x 2ft area thick with roots. I didn’t expect it to cut through roots any larger than yarn and it didn’t. Yet, it did a wonderful job of working the dirt and exposing the troublesome roots. As soon as I heard it grab a root, I would stop and work the roots out with other tools. Then begin again. This process is much better than using a hand shovel. I used it on and off for about 45 minutes going down about 4 inches. I spent a decent time removing roots, yet I was pleased to see the battery not give up in that time. Cleaning went well. I didn’t realize I could remove the tines till after. Next time. I’ll come back with an update soon after I use it more.

This works well and perfectly for sitting on a stool and loosening winter weeds in a raised bed garden. I did several 2x8 boxes and the battery was still going strong. I have arthritis in my thumb, but the controls were fine. My wrist didn’t get fatigued either, so not too heavy. I think if I were to purchase again I might buy the long handled version, but maybe not. I’ve used it several times and I’m happy. This was less than 1/2 the price of the name brand version I was considering, so I’m glad I took a chance on it.

This is absolutely wonderful for any raised beds! I have raised garden beds and using hand tools was really time consuming and hard on my arthritic hands. This little tiller is a God send! Works well, is powerful and goes right through any obstacle!

Didn't know what to expect from this little tiller, but all is well. The gizmo works as advertised, slicing through weeds and roots with ease. The setup is really nonexistent. Slide the battery in place and push the button, then start cultivating your garden. Can't really speak about the battery longevity of endurance. Haven't had it that long, but the batteries were nearly fully charged right out of the box,so that is always a good sign. If you have weak hands, this may be the thing you need to keep your garden in good shape and weed-free.

I am so glad I bought this. It works amazing. Great to get in-between small areas. Gave it only 4 stars because putting the battery in was very frustrating. I couldn't do it and had to get my neighbor to help.

I had little hope for this. I’ve only used it for about an hour but more powerful than I expected and works great to cultivate my gardens. So far I’d say it’s a good small tool for gardening, mixing up old mulch and getting smaller weeds out to their root.
