I have used this trimmer twice. Both times it performed admirably and trimmed the weeds and grass - and even some small trees. It's not as powerful as my old gasoline powered trimmer, but it does trim most everything. It's very lightweight and easy to use. Being smaller, it fits into small spaces like fence corners and behind trees. And based on how it mowed down the grass and weeds, it has plenty of power to get the job done. Having two batteries is also very handy. When one runs down, you can just replace it with the fully charged battery. So you can keep trimming. The price is also very reasonable. And getting the extra spools of trimmer line will save money as the line is used up. Overall, I would recommend this trimmer. It gets the job done.

It works well, though it did take some time to set it up. Instruction booklet was helpful and necessary as set up is not intuitive for us first time owners. Be sure to read manual carefully before attempting. I was happy to see the string lasted through several yard clean-ups as my yard was quite overgrown (mi faulta). It is plastic so you need to be careful. But overall it is better than I expected and a good value.

I’m really impressed with this 21V 12” cordless string trimmer. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and surprisingly powerful for a battery-powered tool. Assembly was quick and simple, and the battery holds a good charge—enough to get through my front and backyard without needing a recharge. It cuts cleanly through grass and even some tougher weeds. I love not having to deal with gas or tangled cords. For the price, this trimmer is an excellent buy. Highly recommended for small to medium yards!

I bought this weed eater mainly because of the price point and the reviews. I rent a townhome with a very small backyard and I am required to keep the grass cut. It had gotten so long it looked like a wild field up past my knees so somebody reported me to the HOA and there is no mower here. I got the whacker right on time, easy assembly for someone who is assembly-challenged and never had one before. Battery was sufficiently charged with a back up battery and charger included. I went over the lawn a couple times due to the length and high density of the grass and it was very powerful and easy to get it cut down to normal. Great for the edging as well and fun to use. I’ll take it with me when I leave. Great purchase at a great price.

Piece of junk. Do not buy. I bought this just for some light duty use. I thought it would be nice to have a cordless battery powered trimmer for convenience just for small jobs. It is light and easy to use. However, the full cut length of string is short. There is only one string on the spool instead of 2, but that really isn’t a problem. The string is very light duty and it goes thru string quickly. The biggest problem is the string won’t advance on its own. It’s supposed to advance a little bit every time you stop and restart it. That doesn’t happen. There is a manual release button on the spool, but when you push it you still can’t pull the string out to make it longer. So every time you need a longer string you have to flip it over, take off the cover, and unwind some string and put the cover back on. Hardly the time saver for small jobs I thought it would be. Other than that it seems adequate.

I got this cordless string trimmer as a gift for my uncle since he’s always fighting with his old gas-powered weed wacker. This one comes with two batteries and a charger, so he can keep going without waiting around. It’s pretty light compared to what he had before, which he really liked since it doesn’t feel like a workout just to trim the lawn. The trimmer cuts through grass and weeds like a champ, and switching the line is easier than I thought it’d be. The battery life is solid too — he said he can do most of his yard with one charge, and then just swap in the second one to finish up. Plus, it works pretty quiet, so no more scaring the neighbors at dawn. Couple small things though — it’s not super great for really thick brush or big weeds, so he still has to use the heavier stuff sometimes. Also, the plastic parts feel okay but don’t expect them to survive a full season of hardcore use without some scratches or bumps. All in all, my uncle’s happy with it. It’s way easier to use than his old gas mower, and having two batteries means no annoying wait times. If you’re looking for something lightweight and simple for the regular yard stuff, this one’s a solid pick.
