I just drop it in, press the button, and let it do its thing—no cords or complicated setup. It does a good job picking up dirt, leaves, and small debris from the bottom of my pool. My pool isn’t super big, so the coverage has been pretty solid. I also like that it’s lightweight and parks itself near the edge when it’s done, which makes it easy to grab. That said, it doesn’t really climb walls much, so I still have to brush the sides occasionally. It’s also not the most powerful out there, but for the price, I think it does exactly what I need.

My workdays are usually very busy, so cleaning the pool often ends up at the bottom of my to do list. This robotic pool vacuum has been very helpful for managing that. Before leaving for work in the morning, I simply place it in the pool and press the button to start the cleaning cycle. It moves around the pool by itself while I am away, so there is no need to watch it or guide it. When I come home in the evening, the pool floor already looks much cleaner, and all I need to do is lift the unit out and empty the debris. My pool is a flat bottom above ground pool that is a little under 800 square feet. The battery lasts long enough to clean the whole area in one cycle during the day. The movement across the floor looks steady, and it collects leaves, small dirt particles, and sand that often settle at the bottom. After one cleaning session, the filter basket usually contains a noticeable amount of debris, which shows that it has been working throughout the day. The operation is very simple, which helps a lot during busy mornings. One button starts the cleaning process. When the battery gets low, the cleaner moves close to the pool wall so it is easy to retrieve with the hook. Removing the filter and rinsing away the dirt only takes a short moment, so keeping the pool clean no longer feels like an extra task after work.

We just open our pool this spring and this vacuum cleaner has been a life-saver. I really like that there’s no complicated setup at all. I just charge it, drop it into the pool, press a button, and it starts cleaning on its own. That “set it and forget it” convenience is a huge upgrade compared to traditional vacuums or manual cleaning. Not having to deal with tangled cables or hoses is a game changer.
