I’ve been using the Pondee X1 Robotic Pool Vacuum for a few weeks now, and honestly it’s made pool cleaning way easier. I just drop it in, press the button, and let it do its thing—no cords or complicated setup. It does a good job picking up dirt, leaves, and small debris from the bottom of my pool. My pool isn’t super big, so the coverage has been pretty solid. I also like that it’s lightweight and parks itself near the edge when it’s done, which makes it easy to grab. That said, it doesn’t really climb walls much, so I still have to brush the sides occasionally. It’s also not the most powerful out there, but for the price, I think it does exactly what I need.

So simple yet so effective. We got it to clean since our vacuum that came with pool died. This is the best ever. Wishing it could be solar , that would make it even better. But for now this is amazing how much it picks up.

Pool cleaning is one of those chores I tend to put off a little, mostly because once debris settles on the bottom, cleaning it by hand feels more annoying than difficult. This robot made that part of the routine a lot easier. I’ve been using it in our above-ground pool, and so far it’s done a good job picking up what collects along the bottom without me having to keep guiding it around. The suction is actually decent. It doesn’t just drift around for show, you can see it pulling in dirt and small debris while it moves. The bottom of the pool looks noticeably cleaner after a cycle, and for our pool size, one full charge has been enough to finish the whole floor. I also like not having to deal with cords. Once it’s charged, I can just drop it in and let it work. The body feels solid and the auto-parking feature makes it easier to pull out once it’s done instead of fishing around for it.

What I like about this pool robot is that it doesn’t try to be overly complicated. We needed something to help with regular maintenance in our above-ground pool, especially for cleaning the bottom and saving time, and it has been doing that well. Once it’s charged, I just drop it in and let it do its thing. It moves on its own, covers the pool steadily, and then I just lift it out and rinse the debris basket. The cleaning results have been good for normal daily use. I can actually see leaves, dirt, and little things that sank to the bottom collected inside afterward. The handle/hook point on top makes it easier to lift out of the pool without fighting with it. It also sits down in the pool steadily when I place it in. For us, this has easily saved a lot of cleanup time.

My workdays are usually very busy, so cleaning the pool often ends up at the bottom of my to do list. This robotic pool vacuum has been very helpful for managing that. Before leaving for work in the morning, I simply place it in the pool and press the button to start the cleaning cycle. It moves around the pool by itself while I am away, so there is no need to watch it or guide it. When I come home in the evening, the pool floor already looks much cleaner, and all I need to do is lift the unit out and empty the debris. My pool is a flat bottom above ground pool that is a little under 800 square feet. The battery lasts long enough to clean the whole area in one cycle during the day. The movement across the floor looks steady, and it collects leaves, small dirt particles, and sand that often settle at the bottom. After one cleaning session, the filter basket usually contains a noticeable amount of debris, which shows that it has been working throughout the day. The operation is very simple, which helps a lot during busy mornings. One button starts the cleaning process. When the battery gets low, the cleaner moves close to the pool wall so it is easy to retrieve with the hook. Removing the filter and rinsing away the dirt only takes a short moment, so keeping the pool clean no longer feels like an extra task after work.
