Description

Can it clean pool steps? It can go up steps, but won't really clean narrow step surfaces well. Why is the unit wet? Is it used? Nope, it's brand new. We water-test every unit before shipping, so a little leftover water inside is totally normal. What if cleaning power feels weak or it gets stuck? If the basket or sponge is clogged, just clean them out. If it gets stuck on a drain or step, it'll back itself out and get back to work in 2–3 minutes. Why does the robot float down when climbing walls? That usually means the filter basket is full. Just empty it, and it'll keep climbing. Why is the runtime shorter than advertised mins? That 180 minutes is for ECO Mode only. In Full Pool Mode, it'll run about 90–100 minutes.

  • This thing is a beast. I love it. It picks up pool toys without getting hung up. Also picks up sand
This pool cleaning robot is really great. I had an older pool cleaning robot that required it to be attached to the power cord. We really struggled with the cord because it was a trip hazard and the plastic outer coating began to break. It was a mess. So we entertained the idea of getting this wall climbing robot and have been very pleased. First, we installed a spa that pours into our pool. The contractors spilled a ton of debris into the pool which has taken us a long time to remove. Our old pool robot just couldn't get the silt and sand out of the pool. This robot captured a ton of sand on the first try. I was so happy. The robot doesn't take too long to charge and runs on several different modes. I haven't tried the turbo mode just yet because I am super happy with the regular mode. It swims up the sides of the pool and does a nice job scrubbing and cleaning. It still doesn't 100% replace a brush scrubbing the sides every now and again, but this comes pretty close. The hook it comes with didn't fit on my pool pole, so I had to add some plastic material in between the pole hook and the hook so it would stay, but that was really the only down side to this cleaner. What makes me happiest is that it runs easily, picks up sand and debris and you can dump it out once it's done. I did, however, dump out some of the debris from the internal catch because I pulled the robot up and out and it tilted sideways a bit, but now I don't do that and all the debris stays inside the catch. One downside is the internal debris catch or net has a latch on it that will get caught on the pool robot when you go to insert it inside the robot. Eventually I am sure I'm going to snap the lip on the debris catch, but for now, I am just really careful. All in all, this thing is a beast and cleans really well. I especially like that it picks up sand and when it does suck up little pool toys like diving coins and diving sea shells, they are fine inside the debris catch. I just pop that open and out comes the pool toys. This is definitely something I would order again. ... show more

  • Capable Cleaner with Some Rough Edges
The TALOSBO C1 is a pretty nice robotic pool cleaner overall, with solid hardware and good cleaning performance. The app, however, has a rough, unfinished feel. It works, but the first‑time tutorial is confusing - you have to swipe left through it, yet nothing on the screen indicates it is a tutorial or that swiping is required. It’s an odd introduction to an otherwise functional system. Once set up, the cleaner behaves exactly as you’d expect. It connects to Wi‑Fi without trouble, updates its firmware, and is ready to go. All cleaning modes work well: floor, walls, and waterline. The only strange part is the path it chooses - it gets the job done, but the pattern looks a bit weird while it’s working. The biggest downside is the filter basket. It’s flimsy, and smaller debris tends to slip around it, clogging the sponge filter instead. The secondary sponge filter is a good backup, but it also means you’re cleaning two filters every time, which adds extra maintenance. Overall, the cleaner performs well and has strong hardware, but the app polish and filter design could use improvement. ... show more

  • Wall climbing robot that handles the whole pool 🤖🧹
Overview: A cordless robotic pool cleaner that climbs walls, scrubs the waterline, and covers large pools with app controlled cleaning modes, offering solid performance and good value. I've tried this robot a few times in an inground pool, and it works fine 🤖 It climbed the walls and scrubbed along the waterline without getting stuck, which is more coordination than I expected from something that basically just rolls around underwater all day. It's supposedly rated for pools up to 1,600 square feet, and it covered the floor and walls of a smaller pool with room to spare on a single charge. The app lets you pick from several cleaning modes, so you can send it on a quick spot clean or a longer full pool run depending on how much time you have. Runtime landed close to 3 hours in the lower power setting, and it took roughly 2.5 hours to charge back up, so it's realistic to run once a day without falling behind on battery. It's got dual brushes and multiple motors that seemed to work through leaves and sand without leaving streaks behind, and the "dual-layer filtration" caught both bigger debris and finer particles like sand 🌊 For the price, this is solid value considering it handles the whole pool without needing a separate skimmer pass. My advice is to rinse the filters after each run so buildup doesn't slow down suction over time 🧹 ... show more

  • A total game-changer for our pool—climbs walls and scrubs the waterline perfectly!
I recently upgraded to the TALOSBO C1 Robotic Pool Cleaner, and it has been an absolute lifesaver for keeping our inground pool crystal clear. With two active sons constantly in the water, our pool sees a lot of daily action, and keeping up with the dirt and debris used to be a massive chore. This cordless robot completely takes the hassle out of our maintenance routine. Why this pool cleaner is a fantastic upgrade:Incredible Wall & Waterline Cleaning: Unlike older, basic floor models, this machine actually climbs the vertical walls and scrubs the waterline beautifully. It handles the slopes in the deep end without getting stuck, ensuring the entire pool is spotless.Long-Lasting Battery: The 180-minute runtime is seriously impressive. It easily completes a full, thorough cleaning cycle of our whole pool on a single charge. Plus, the auto-parking feature brings it right to the pool edge when the battery gets low, making it incredibly easy to fish out with a retrieval hook.Excellent Dual Filtration: The two-stage filter catches everything from larger leaves to the ultra-fine sand and dirt that usually clouds up the water. It’s very easy to pop open the basket and hose it off when the cycle is done.Smart App Control: Being able to choose from 7 different cleaning modes (like floor-only or waterline-only) through the smartphone app is super convenient. You can tailor the cycle to exactly what the pool needs that day, and the bright turquoise color makes it very easy to spot while it's working.Overall, this is a heavy-duty, highly effective vacuum that does exactly what it promises. It is a fantastic investment that gives you back your weekend time. Highly recommended! 5 out of 5 stars. ... show more

  • Solid performance!
I have been using robotic pool cleaners for years and this one genuinely surprised me. The wall climbing is no joke, it actually scrubs the waterline without any manual intervention which has always been a pain point with other models I've tried. Triple motors seem to give it serious suction power and the dual brushes handle leaves and sand like nothing. Runtime is solid at three hours in eco mode, plenty for my pool size. The app works fine for switching between cleaning modes though the interface feels a bit clunky. Filtration does an excellent job keeping the water clear after each cycle. ... show more

  • Capable Robotic Pool Cleaner That Handles More Than Just the Floor
A robotic pool cleaner becomes considerably more useful when it can handle the walls and waterline instead of simply collecting debris from the bottom of the pool. This TALOSBO C1 has performed well in those areas and provides a much more complete cleaning cycle than basic floor-only robots. Pros: The cleaning performance has been impressive. It picks up debris from the pool floor effectively, climbs the walls, and works along the waterline. The tracks provide good traction, and it moves around the pool without constantly getting stuck or requiring intervention. Battery life is sufficient to complete a cleaning cycle, and the cordless design is much more convenient than dealing with cables around the pool. Charging is straightforward, and removing and cleaning the filter after use does not take much time. The overall construction feels substantial, and the controls are simple enough that there is not much of a learning curve. Put it in the pool, select the desired cleaning mode, and let it work. Cons: Like most robotic pool cleaners, it still requires routine filter cleaning and occasional manual attention to areas it may miss. Bottom Line: This is a capable cordless robotic pool cleaner that does considerably more than basic floor cleaning. The wall climbing, waterline scrubbing, good debris collection, and straightforward maintenance make it convenient to use and reduce the amount of manual pool cleaning required. ... show more

  • Full featured powerful cleaner
Finally fired the pool boy I'm pretty sure my wife isnt happy about that. This robot does a great job. If youve never had one at first it will seem daunting. It is heavy and big and when you first drop it in the water yeah you have a moment where you wonder what you've just done. Setup couldn't be easier. When you first get it read the manual and make sure to charge it fully. If you just want a great cleaner set it using the buttons and let it go to town. You'll see just how not clean your meticulously maintained pool really is. It runs a solid 3 hours and gets the entire floor and walls cleaned with power to spare. Retrieval is easy. Where it really shines is if you want to setup routines and use the app. It's intuitive and easy to use but fulo of features. Me I just drop it in in the morning. Let it run and bring it out around lunch time. Plug it in let it charge and it's ready to go again. Emptying the waste container is easy. If you haven't being doing a good job with maintenance the amount of stuff might gross you out. Use it often and it will be less and less gross. ... show more

  • Excellent Cleaning Performance for the Price
This robotic pool cleaner has exceeded my expectations. It was easy to get started, and after dropping it into the pool, it got right to work without any complicated setup. It does a thorough job cleaning the floor, climbs the walls consistently, and spends time scrubbing the waterline where dirt and oils usually build up. The dual brushes seem to loosen debris well, and the filter basket captures everything from fine dirt to small leaves. The battery has been more than enough to finish a full cleaning cycle, and removing and rinsing out the filter afterward only takes a couple of minutes. The unit feels sturdy, and nothing about it seems cheaply made. Considering the features and performance, I think it offers excellent value compared to many higher-priced robotic cleaners. ... show more
