  • 7 Days and 140 Miles
The media could not be loaded. This is my first EUC ever, I’ve only have had this EUC for 7 days, and I’ve ridden the hell out of it. I live in the downtown area of Knoxville and this thing is unmatched for getting around. I’ve taken it in grocery stores, restaurants, on bike paths, skate parks, classes, gas stations, you name it, I’ve probably done it. When I got this thing I spent about 3 hours on top of a parking garage feeling awkward as hell on it, but got to the point that I can comfortably go up and down the garage levels without stopping. By day two I took it around the neighborhood, still clumsy and awkward, but it really started to click. On day 3 and onwards, it’s just been a breeze to get around on. I spend about 2 hours a day on it and so far I’ve only been limited by its modest real world range of ~20 miles. I haven’t gone a day without having to head home due to the battery. It’s still plenty good for the price and I’m not disappointed. I just wish I could ride it longer. (Also, once you hit 15% battery it enters a sort of limp mode so you end up having to be back home before you reach that point) The thing is built like a tank. I’ve crashed it on concrete multiple times without any injury to myself. Makes me sad to see the plastic all scraped up but absolutely nothing has broken on it. The worse offender is when I smacked it into a concrete wall and popped some plastic clips that I just had to pop back in. The thing is durable and I’m not concerned about it at all if it takes a tumble while I’m on the road. For the price, the EUC goes fairly fast, but by day 2 of riding I’ve already started hitting the upper limit of what it can do. The fastest I’ve gone on it is 26.2mph (~200lb rider) according to the app, but the EUC is most comfortable cruising 10-20mph. This speed is perfectly fine for sidewalks and bike paths, but it’s fairly daunting to enter traffic without feeling like I’m holding people up or about to be rear ended; sidewalks and bike lanes definitely aren’t a given here in the U.S. and you may find yourself in a situation where you have to ride in the street with a bunch of cars where some extra speed would be nice. The EUC feels extremely smooth on the power but I definitely get nervous sometimes about overpowering the motor since the EUCs motor tends to be on the smaller side (1000W) where something like the begode Falcon is (1500W). I’m happy with it, but your definitely more for cruising and not doing anything super sporty with it. Finally charging, it’s slower than I’d like with the stock charger. Given its small battery and lower range as compared to other EUCs on the market, it really could have benefited from a faster charger right out of the box. Being that I have ended every ride so far due to a near dead battery, it would be nice to come home, relax and charge it for an hour, then head back out as a reasonable trade off . But getting more than one ride a day isn’t very feasible due to the 4-5 hour stock charging time. Inmotion advertises a 1 hour charging time with a 10A charger, but you’ll have to pay extra for it somewhere else. I’m sure once I stop taking it on long, daily excursions, the range and charging time won’t be such a blocker. TLDR; Great small EUC geared for a more chill riding experience. It’s very durable and I managed to learn to ride mostly competently in 2 days. The top speed is sufficient for sidewalks and bike lanes, but daunting for street riding due to its modest top speed (I could achieve of 26.2mph on flat ground). Expect to get ~20 miles/2-3 hours of riding before needing to charge. Charging takes 4-5 hours. ... show more

  • Great starter wheel
I'm new to riding euc's but it didn't take long to figure out how to ride it. I used to ride a unicycle before so I'm familiar with the balancing aspect of it. Day 2 I took a 12 mile trip going about 22mph on average and it was at about 60% battery when I was done. I found that going at high speeds its important to keep the wheel tight between your legs. It does go fast enough to be on the main roads around town since most of them nearby are about 20-25mph which is nice. I have had a couple times where the wheel tipped over and it has a couple scratches but the overall construction of it is great! I think this wheel is a great one to learn on since it doesn't go to fast and the pedals are lower. ... show more

  • Great wheel!
The media could not be loaded. Love this wheel! I got an E20 to try and learn how to ride but quickly outgrew it and then this wheel was released so it seemed like a great stepping stone. The kickstand is perfect, it's not noticable at all while riding and it's very easy to use when setting the wheel down. There's no thinking or effort you have to put in, you just press the kill switch button in the handle and rock it back until it rests on it. The group audio sync works well with my husband's v12 pro and we've been enjoying it a lot. I wish the range were just a bit better, but some of that I can fix on my own by riding a bit faster as I learn so I can keep up with him better 😂 I also really appreciate the adjustable front light as I have a bad habbit of looking down when I'm riding. The adjustable light makes it easy for me to light up where I need to look to sort of help myself ride better. It's also plenty bright on its own as are the turn signals and brake light. You can adjust the side lights too and have multiple frames so I made a rotating rainbow! Also, the case may be plastic, but it's plenty durable. I had quite a few falls/bad dismounts in my first few days that scratched it up on the sides, but there's no real damage beyond some surface scratches. I also scratched up my husband's v12 pro a bit before mine arrived and didn't notice any real difference in the durability. Overall I really like this wheel. It seems like they took the best things from some of their previous wheels and put them together to make a nice Goldilocks starter wheel. Even if you have a more powerful wheel meant for offroading/racing/etc, this might be a good option for a second wheel that is better for commuting/running errands/etc since it's only like 45lbs and can still get some good speed behind it. ... show more

  • What a great little wheel. It takes me back....
I have many Electric Unicycles- including another from Inmotion. I have been riding since 2019, and have rode all over the US. Somewhere along the line, the race for the biggest, fastest, longest range wheel, along with the best protection gear, 20 minutes to put it all on prep to carry the wheels- u lose the JOY of riding. This wheel brought the joy back. Simple, light, well built, feature packed. Easy to trolly around. Bang for the buck- it's hard to beat. I wish the rounded body was flatter to apply pads, however. Nothing sticks- even when using the best tapes. It's a very good, all around transportation device that'll make u smile every time. ... show more

  • Excellent beginner wheel.
Perfect beginner wheel, suspension makes a big difference, make riding much easier on the knees compared to the E20. I love the increase in power and speed, would definitely recommend to someone getting started.

  • Easily 5 stars! The word will get out.
I love these things: - climbing power - weight - the tire - suspension - pedals - display - kickstand - trolley hand - charging - it can take a tumble! - it looks good. - did not try rideconnect yet I put 30 miles on this v9 on dirt and climbing. It out climbed the v10 on a 2000ft. 7 mile solid climb. Also on very steep short stuff, it went up everything. In my opinion, this feels like a perfect euc! Don't let the v9 label fool you. Perhaps could be the v11 mini. (range is not as good as v10 or v11 though). ... show more
