Being stupid, it took me 20 minutes to figure out I had the top 180 degrees backward! After I finally figured that out, it was literally a snap. And they include Teflon tape - use it. Use a lot of it or it will leak badly. Normally I wrap the tape around thread about 6 times or so. After it still leaked I think I wrapped it 12-14 times - I lost count! I also ordered a 675 burst pressure hose to go with it since I plan to have it attached when I'm gone, and really really don't want the hose to burst!

Just follow the instructions and install in minutes. It works great. It comes with thread sealing tape. I use it to wrap around the head threads of water hose to prevent leaks. So far, so good!

Great idea it does great at filling, except sometimes it doesn’t stop filling and overfills the pool. Can’t trust it to keep the pool full and not overfill it while gone on vacation

Replaced old one because regulator stem broke off from years in service. This one looked and worked the same. This one was easy to assemble and install just like old one. worked fine for about a month and then it started sticking. Most of the time, it caused the pool level to go too low. Next time it may stick and water just keep running. At end of season, will do a couple of modifications and try again next year.

It’s kind of cheap plastic for the money but it works and that’s all that matters. I adjusted the level which is really easy and it keeps the water level where I want it. I have used it for a month.
